it took aera all of two weeks on earth to decide it truly was not the place for her. sure, some of the people were nice and it was entertaining to see them entertain themselves with such silly little things like televisions and their odd devices they called phones.

but all in all, earth was boring. it was nothing compared to the beauty of cupideia, nor was it even close to being as exciting as it. everyone followed each other like pets and acted as if they were better than each other, it was ghastly honestly.

one thing that made it even more boring was her lack of luck with her couple. it was entirely too hard to even get the two to interact, let alone be in the same vicinity. she couldn't count on both sets of fingers how many times she'd attempted to get them in the same place at the same time and ended up disappointed when the universe decided not to be on her side.

it didn't help that she had gotten herself roped up into the joy that was cupids secret corner. almost immediately she had been accepted into the club, promptly dragged into the multitude of work they had to do to organize this years festival.

quite frankly, she was beginning to stress the hell out. admittedly she had all the time in the world to try and get this couple together, but every day on earth was another day she was away from her family and friends and as much as she loved nana and the friends she had made she couldn't bare the idea.

"oh, little dove!" to her utmost despair, soyeongs embarrassing little nickname he had curated just for her began to spread like the plague amongst the shared friends they had made. she pressed her lips together at the sound of it as she let the door of the cafe part of nanas shop swing closed behind her, waving at the girl behind the counter.

"hi jo, is ayame here? i wanted to talk to her about something." she questioned, trying her hardest to peak though the beaded curtain that separated the shop from the cafe. eunjoo immediately sucked a breath in through her teeth at that, sending her an apprehensive look.

"you might not want to go in there right now," she shook her head. "this happens a lot between the two of them, really not healthy for the workspace. i don't know why nana makes them work together." she rolled her eyes, sending the cupid one last smile before attending to the costumer who had just walked in.

her words rendered aera very confused, but the brown haired girl continued her way into the shop nevertheless. and immediately she was greeted by a sight that explained eunjoos words for her.

"seriously? he's worked here the entire time?" she whispered to herself with furrowed brows as she watched the scene in front of her unfold. soobin and ayame, currently hissing out hushed arguments behind the counter, very clearly unpleased with each other.

the cupid sighed, rubbing her forehead in a stressed manner before composing herself and beginning her journey towards the two. only before she could actually get there, there was a figure nearly knocking her off of her feet.
