Sunghoon pov :

Arriving at the Palace, I felt drained from horseback riding.
As we entered the dining room, Sunoo and Jungwon were already there, ready to enjoy the meal prepared by Mr. Bang.

While seated at the dining table,Jay looked at Sunoo and Jungwon, and asked, "Why didn't you guys come to the racecourse?"

" Hyung, in the early morning, neither of us wanted to get tired " Jungwon replied to Jay.

Feeling mentally and physically drained, I didn't have an appetite.
So I told them, "Hey guys, I'm not going to eat. You guys enjoy the snack. I'm going to my room."

Mr. Bang stopped me and asked, " Your Highness, are you feeling unwell? "

" Yeah, Hyung, are you sick or something? If not, please come and enjoy the snack with us" Sunoo said, blending Mr.Bang question and looking at me.

I assured them, saying, 'No, no, don't worry, I'm just tired,' and went to my room.

I entered my room and lay on my bed, closing my eyes in an attempt to sleep.

However, the fear of falling asleep without my medicines lingered, knowing that without them, nightmares would haunt me.

Doctor Jeon told me that the nightmares I'm experiencing could be related to traumas from my previous life.

Each time I experienced nightmares, a lot of questions troubled me,
: Why am I experiencing traumas from my past life in this lifetime?
: Why couldn't I clearly see the face of the Omega boy named as my mate?"
: Why do I always dream about that boy being killed in front of me?

As I lay with my eyes closed, I found myself lost in thoughts.

Eventually, I heard the door to my room open.
Thinking that someone might be interested in what I was doing, I choose not to open my eyes, because of exhaustion and wanting to dive myself more in my thoughts.

Later, someone came and sat on my bed beside me, but I didn't want to open my eyes, so I kept them closed.
As he softly whispered, gently touching my hair and face, he reassured, "Don't worry, Hyung, I'm here."

I sensed him slowly releasing his pheromones, emitting a sweet and fresh scent that was incredibly relaxing.

I recognized his voice and the familiar scent of his pheromones; it was Sunoo...

However, Sunoo is usually very strict about releasing his pheromones, so I was a bit surprised.
Because of that, I opened my eyes, which startled him and causing him to jump up from the bed in shock.

"Oh... Hy.... Hyung," He stuttered, " Are you still awake? I thought you were asleep. Sorry to disturb you. " with that, he hurriedly tried to leave my room.

I stopped him from leaving by catching his hand.
He startled and looked at me.
I thanked him, " Thank you Sunoo, for your calming pheromones. It made me instantly relaxed. "

Sunoo's face turned as red as a peach, and he stuttered again, " It's no... nothing, Hy... Hyung. I'll head to my room now. Sorry for disturbing you. "
After saying that, he quickly exited my room.

As he left, I found myself puzzled by the situation, especially his reassurance of being there for me without a apparent cause.

Yet his words and pheromones were unexpectedly relaxing.

Once again, I pondered whether Jay might have shared with Sunoo and others about what happened in the morning, which could be the reason for his actions.

With that in mind, I decided to move on, because in that moment, I had a lot of things to worry about.
