Third Person's pov:
The night before,
Sunghoon and Sunoo had a brief conversation about
their plans for the Youth Program. However, their minds weren't entirely focused on the project.
Both of them found their thoughts drifting back to each other,
unable to concentrate on anything else. The following morning,
everyone gathered for breakfast in the grand dining room.Duke Kim was eager to share his thoughts on their plans.
As the Crown Prince and Sunoo sat down, Sunoo felt much less nervous than the previous day.
Sunghoon’s presence, which once made his heart race uncontrollably,
was starting to feel more familiar,
even comfortable.“Today’s plan is simple,”
Duke Kim began, his voice steady.
“In the morning, you two should work on a rough outline of the Youth Program. And this evening, we’ve arranged a party at the manor to welcome you to the Estorn region, Your Highness. I hope it will give everyone a chance to relax and enjoy.”Sunghoon nodded politely, thanking Duke Kim.
Sunoo, meanwhile, felt a sense of relief wash over him.
The pressure wasn’t as overwhelming as it had been the day before,
and he was beginning to find his footing. After finishing breakfast,
Sunghoon and Sunoo headed to the main study room. The atmosphere between them felt lighter, as if they were both slowly getting used to each other’s company.
Sunoo found himself becoming more comfortable around Sunghoon,
no longer feeling as anxious as he once did.
Sunghoon, noticing this shift, also felt less concerned. After a few hours of discussing
the program and jotting down ideas, the door to the study opened,
and Sunoo’s mother,
Duke Jin,
entered with a warm smile. He was carrying a tray of snacks, and the aroma instantly filled the room.
“Sorry to interrupt, boys,”
He said, placing the tray on a nearby table.
“You have more than enough time for this program, so relax a little. Come and have some snacks.”Sunoo eagerly approached the table, eyes lighting up at the sight of the food. “You’re the best, Maa! I was getting a little hungry.”
Duke Jin chuckled softly as He prepared two plates.
“I know, cutie, that’s why I brought this for you.”Sunghoon raised an eyebrow at the nickname, a playful grin spreading across his face.
“Cutie?” he exclaimed, clearly amused.Sunoo’s cheeks turned a deep shade of pink.
He whined in embarrassment,
“Aaaaaa, Mom! I keep telling you not to call me that in front of others!”Duke Jin laughed, handing a plate to Sunoo.
“Oh, come on, Sunoo. Sunghoon isn’t a stranger, he’s your friend. Now, give this plate to the prince.”Still pouting, Sunoo reluctantly took the plate and handed it to Sunghoon, muttering under his breath,
“I know he’s not a stranger, but now he’s going to tease me forever…”Sunghoon couldn’t hold back his laughter any longer.
His warm, genuine laugh echoed through the room,
and for a moment, Sunoo’s heart skipped a beat.It was rare to see Sunghoon so relaxed and laughing like this.
He usually had a serious, almost cold aura around others, but with those close to him, he could be friendly and playful.
