Three Besties.

Third person's pov :

           
              Sunoo jolted awake, the sudden burst of sunlight through his bedroom window disoriented him.

It was almost noon, a rare late start for him.
He rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the lingering remnants of sleep, and reached for his phone.
The screen read 11:00 a.m., and he quickly got up, heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

In the dining room, a cozy breakfast awaited him.

Jungwon, Jake, and Niki were already seated, their laughter filling the room.

Sunoo's curiosity piqued as he approached the table, his smile fading slightly at their exuberance.

"Guys, why are you all laughing like crazy in the early morning?"
Sunoo inquired, settling into a chair.

Jungwon looked up, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"It's because of our Jake hyung. Do you remember last night, Sunoo? Jake hyung pouted so cutely."

Jake groaned and shouted,
"Aaaaaa, guys, please stop this. You shouldn't tease me early in the morning. Please, I'm begging you, stop it."

Sunoo chuckled, joining in on the teasing. "Yeah, I also remember it. You were very cute, hyung."

Jake's face reddened as he protested,
"If you guys continue this, I'm going to leave, okay?"

"Okay, okay, hyung,"
Niki said with a smile, standing up from his chair.
"I’m going to leave. I have a lot of work to do. If my father finds out I'm doing nothing, he's going to kill me. So, I'm off."

Jake gave Niki a mock-annoyed look.
"I think you’re worth killing, Niki."

"Don’t say that, hyung. I know I’m your savior. That’s why I told you to do that dare. I know you really liked it,"
Niki retorted, walking out of the dining room.

As Niki left, Jake shook his head. "Aaaaaaa, I don’t know what to do with that brat."

Sunoo laughed and asked,
"Where are the other three?"

Jungwon replied, "Mr. Bang said Sunghoon hyung went to the Royal Palace early this morning for a meeting with governors. I’m not sure about the other two."

Sunoo thought to himself, *So that’s why he was working with papers late into the night yesterday.*

At that moment, Heesung and Jay entered the room. Heesung greeted everyone cheerfully.
"Good morning, guys."

The others responded in kind.

Heesung turned to Jake, saying,
"Babe, I’m going out with Jay. Some urgent work came up. If you want to go home, call the driver, okay?"

Heesung pecked Jake on the cheek, said his goodbyes to the three omegas, and left with Jay.

Jay, however, seemed unusually distant and red-faced, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

Sunoo noticed and turned to Jake. "What’s up with Jay hyung? He was acting like a stranger and looked so red."

"Yeah," Jake added, "I was about to ask the same thing. He’s not normally like that."

Jungwon, who had been unusually quiet, was now visibly blushing and shifting in his seat.

Sunoo noticed Jungwon’s discomfort. "What’s wrong with you, Jungwon? Why are you getting red and so quiet all of a sudden?"

Jake, looking at Jungwon with a mix of curiosity and concern, said,
"What happened? Why are you guys acting all weird suddenly? Did something happen?"
