" Why do these nightmares haunt me? Why can't I see your face clearly? "
After having scary dreams about his past life with his soulmate, Crown Prince Park Sunghoon can't stop thinking about those questions.
Can he find his soulmate again in this l...
Sunghoon sighed as he sat at his desk, the remnants of last night’s fun still echoing in his mind.
After Sunoo had left his room, he dove into a mountain of paperwork that needed to be completed before the meeting with his father and the governors.
He loved hanging out with his friends; it was the only time he could truly be himself, free from the expectations that came with being the crown prince.
But now, the exhaustion from their late-night antics weighed heavily on him, and the nightmares that plagued his sleep made it impossible to find rest.
Hours slipped by, and as the first light of dawn broke through the curtains, Sunghoon realized he had to get moving.
He freshened up, the cool water invigorating him just a bit, and dressed in his royal attire, the fabric feeling both familiar and constricting.
He called for his secretary, Mr. Sejin, who arrived promptly, ready to escort him to the royal palace.
“Good morning, Your Highness,” Mr. Sejin greeted him with a respectful bow.
“Morning, Sejin. Let’s get going,” Sunghoon replied, forcing a smile despite the fatigue lingering in his eyes.
Upon arriving at the palace, Sunghoon made his way directly to his royal study.

Sunghoon's royal study room.
The grand room was filled with the scent of polished wood and old books, a comforting space where he could focus.
He spread out the documents before him, determined to prepare thoroughly for the meeting.
His parents had high hopes for him, and he felt the weight of their expectations pressing down on his shoulders.
As he worked, the door creaked open, and in walked Mr. Jeon, the royal doctor. “Good morning, Your Highness. Did you enjoy your hangout with friends?” he asked, his tone warm and friendly.
“Yeah, Mr. Jeon, it was great to hang out with the guys,” Sunghoon replied, a genuine smile breaking through his fatigue.
“That’s great to hear, Your Highness. May I ask, did you get a good sleep last night?” Mr. Jeon’s expression shifted slightly, concern creeping into his voice.
Sunghoon hesitated, knowing he couldn’t lie. “No, I couldn’t sleep, and I had to do some work. But don’t worry, I’ll get some rest after the meeting.”
Mr. Jeon’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Your Highness, I’m sorry to disturb you, but if you keep this up, it’s not good for your mind and body. The king has entrusted me with your health, and you really should rest.”
