Noemi made her way to the back of the RB building to get to Daniel's driver room. Hopefully she didn't look too suspicious, but it seemed pretty normal for the drivers to visit each other in their personal rooms.
Noemi knocked on the door, and waited. It took Daniel longer than she expected to open the door, he cracked the door at first, she could see half of his face, he wore a confused look, but as soon as he had realized it was her he fully opened the door and his confused look brightened into his usual smile. He welcomed her inside.

"You wanted to see me?" Noemi asked after Daniel closed the door behind her.

"Yeah," He looked down, "I wanted to talk about earlier today," He took a moment before continuing, "I don't know what got into me."

"Daniel," Noemi looked at him sincerely, "It's alright, I wanted it too, we just gotta be careful because imagine if someone besides Lando walked in on it."

"Yes, which is why I think it would be better if we didn't continue on this path," He took a deep breath and looked at Noemi, "I want you, Noemi, really bad. But it isn't best for either of our careers."

"You're right," Noemi felt tears forming, there was no point in crying Noemi had barely even had more than a friendship with him. It was two interactions that went beyond friendship, but yet she couldn't help it, "Do you think that there's any way we could continue this at all?"

"I don't know," Daniel walked over to his couch and sat down, Noemi followed him, "I just think it would be safer to not risk anything with our careers," He sighed, "I mean look at me, I'm not in a good spot to begin with, I've got Liam Lawson on my ass for the moment I fuck up enough to be taken out, and you, you're just starting here, one wrong move and they'll take you right out and put Stroll back in, I reckon his daddy is probably trying to bribe your principal to get him back in right now."

"You're right. Neither of us are in a good place to be risking anything."

"Right." The Australian looked down. He leaned back and sunk into the couch even more than he was before, suddenly, he sat up, "Maybe, we stay just friends when it comes to racing and whenever we're in a professional setting, and off the track and away from this atmosphere we can be more than the friends we pretend to be?" He looked over at her, hope flooding his eyes.

"I feel as if that could backfire in many ways." She sighed, "But, I'm willing to try that. We just can't be seen together outside of anything revolving racing."

Daniel moved closer to her, and gave her a hug. It was the most loving and sincere hug Noemi had ever experienced, His arms wrapped around her neck and he rested his hands on her upper back. Noemi rested her head where his shoulders met his neck, wrapping her arms around his torso. He held her tight, and it seemed like he was never going to let go, she didn't want him to.
When Daniel finally pulled away from their hug he smiled, causing Noemi to smile as well.

"I'm going back to my hotel soon, I'm hella tired." Noemi told him, "Thank you for this though, today was amazing all together." She looked down and smiled, "We should spend some time together before next weekend."

"I'd love that," He smiled back at her, "I want to get to know you more Noemi."

"I want to get to know you more as well," Noemi couldn't help but laugh.

Confused, Daniel asked, "What are you laughing about?"

"I never expected to go into F1 and make out with one of the drivers on the first race weekend" He continued laughing, and Daniel couldn't stop himself from laughing either.

Through their laughs Daniel began speaking again, "Noemi, I've been drawn to you ever since that first press conference we had together."

"Me too." Noemi replied, they looked at each other for a moment with the same tension as this morning building between them as they looked at one another.
