If you were searching for a path and found someone as lost as you, would they be a good or bad influence? Would it help you find that path, or would it make you feel more lost? In this example, if we placed a psychologist, he would be like someone with a map and a flashlight. It will not take you on one path, but it will guide you along the one you choose, giving you a broader perspective. A psychologist, a good psychologist, is never going to tell you what to do. The best psychologists I have met are the ones who help you come up with your own answer, they are the ones who help you choose your own path, giving you all the necessary tools to be able to know yourself better, to understand yourself, and face the one who has possibly been your worst enemy until that moment: yourself.

Let's go back to the night we were in. Do you remember that Cris stayed in bed after arriving at her house? A few minutes later, she fell asleep, and in her dream, she relived an important memory that happened a year ago. In this dream, she was standing outside a house, and on the other side of the door, a boy came out, to whom she said:

—Hi Marce! Sorry for letting you down yesterday! But the truth is that it seemed very sudden to me. How about we go have lunch at noon?

—Ah, hello Cris —the boy responded—. Today I'm going to be very busy. Should we leave it for another time?

—Sure! Is everything alright? If you need help with anything, know that I...

—Don't worry, we'll talk tomorrow.

Still in the dream, the next day, at the school where they both studied, Cris was looking for the boy, and there were many people who made various gestures while pointing at her.

—Marce! —Cris told him, after finding him—. Did you listen to those in the class? They are saying very strong things about us, as if something happened yesterday.

—Bah, don't pay attention to them, Cris —the boy responded—. Besides, if we're thinking about being a couple, I guess those things are going to end up happening at some point, right?

—Why do you say that? Wait... You're the one who started those rumors?

—I don't understand you. I thought there was nothing wrong with showing off that we like each other.

Cristal began to feel a knot in her stomach.

—Marcelo... Tell me something, what do you really like about me?

—Why the question? Cris, there are many things. I like your eyes, your face, you are a very pretty girl.

—Please tell me another reason.

—Well, you have a nice figure, Cris, and you have nice lips.

—Marcelo, are there no other reasons?
