The eight friends walked towards the park they go to nearly every week. The air was warm and the sun shone on each of them. Delia walked beside Anna sipping on her redbull every now and then. She wore a pair of denim shorts with a white baby tee and white beet up airforces. It was to hot to wear jeans or a jumper that being the reason why she let most of her skin be open to the breeze that waved her hair around.
The boys had asked ashtray to come by making Delia a little nervous to see him. Not in a bad way or anything because she likes to hang out with him. I guess you could say Delia had a crush. And the fact that Alex walked into the two making out in her room half naked the other day didn't make her feel any better. He promised he wouldn't tell the group. The only person that knew except from Alex was Anna because in the end of the day that was her best friend and they tell each other everything.
"Wheres ashtray then?" Ryan said scanning the park for his face "he said he'll be here once his shift ends" Alex said as they walked up to the bench they always sat at. Delia could feel Anna's eyes burning into her head as she looked at her with a grin on her face. Everyone sat in a comfortable silence as the laughter of little children filled the park "I love children" Weston said sighing but everyone took it the wrong way looking at him weird "no! I mean I would like to have my own" "I wouldn't trust you" Leyton said taking a gulp of his Pepsi.
"I never understood why you choose Pepsi over coke" Delia said looking at Leyton weird "bro Pepsis so much better" he whined "nuh uh" Delia pressed her lips into a thin line shaking her head. As they bickered about what drink was better a presence made them self known as ash walked up to the benches "ash! What's better coke or Pepsi" Leyton shout making ash a little scared "coke bro if you choose Pepsi your strange" ash said sitting next to Delia and wrapping his arm around her waist "thank you!" Delia said poking her tongue out at Leyton who rolled his eyes.
"Hold up... what's goin on between you two?" Aundrey said as he pointed between Delia and ash looking down at his arm around her waist "nothin" Delia shrugged "well the hand placement says other wise" she shrugged as Delia felt ash chuckle next to her. "Who wants to put a bet on it" Leyton joked as ash sent him a glare not liking the joke "nah bro...we just chillin" ash said looking down at her with a small smile on his face "sooo friends with benefits?" Alissa giggle at her joke "shut the fuck up" Delia glared at her as everyone laughed tormenting the 'couple'.
After about two hours or so the sun finally started setting as everyone walked around the suburbs or New York. Delia always preferred the quiet part of New York because the busy part was always full of rowdy people or crackheads. "I heard that Connor from school is having a party tomorrow" Ryan said "ooo we haven't been to a party in ages" Alissa said getting exited "we should go" "I'm down" Anna said and everyone agreed.
"Who's driving" Delia asked "I'll drive" Leyton said as he has the biggest car they would all squeeze into "why don't all of us go to mine and we can get ready there because I think we're the closest to Connor's" Audrey suggested and they all agreed. They all then went quite again having nothing to say or talk about. It was just peaceful, ashtray had his arm wrapped around Delias shoulders. They were walking to the bar. It's basically their new hang out spot.
Everyone walk into the busy bar ashtray holding the door open for Delia since she was the last to walk in. "Yo ash can I talk to you for a minute" fez said from behind the bar catching everyone's attention "yeah" ash walked towards fez as the rest walked to the back. Blue LED lights lit the room that had one big sofa, a small sofa that can fit one person and a beanbag. Delia walked over to the small sofa and plopped down on it as everyone else found a seat and sat down.
Ash nonchalantly walk into the room walking over to Delia. She stood up as ash sat down grabbing onto her hips and pulling her down onto his lap. She let out a sharp breath at the sudden action but soon relaxed as she leant onto ashes chest leaning her head on his shoulder "what did yo brother want?" Ryan asked everyone else also wanting to know "umm... he's getting married" he said pressing his lips into a thin looking down onto his lap that Delia sat on "that amazing!" Delias said smiling brightly at the boy "tell him I said congratulations" she said as he sent her a tight lipped smile.
"Whens the wedding then?" Alex's chimed in "oh he actually hasn't proposed yet" ash looked around the room nodding "oh well let's hope she says yes" Anna said laughing a little making ash and everyone else chuckle at her pun. Everyone chilled out in the back just talking and smoking as ash had a few blunts in the back that his brother put back there for when they had breaks from work.
"Bro you know what we should all do" Leyton said exhaling smoke from his mouth and passing the blunt to Delia "what?" Weston asked who was also high "go on holiday" Leyton blurted out making everyone look at him shocked "yesssss!" Alissa shouted clapping her hands "where to tho?" Audrey asked "ummm" Leyton hummed thinking places to go "oh I know!" Anna shouted "Brazil!"
Everyone walked out the doors to the bar as Delia was the last one to walk out. Before she did she turned to ash and looked up at him "I'll see you tomorrow" she said as he looked down at the short girl in front of him "yeah fosho" he said nodding a small smile tugging at his lips "oh text me about what happens with your brother" she said pointing as him "I will" he said softly slowly stepping closer to Delia as she innocently looked up at him. He got so close as there chests pressed against each other, his arms wrapped around her waist as hers laid on his abs.
He slowly bent down to her height as she went on her tip toes a little . He looked down at her lips then eyes leaning closer. Closing the gap between them by pressing his lips on hers. It was a soft kiss as their lips moved in sync, enjoying the moment. They both pulled away before Delia presses her lips on his for a spilt second before stepping back a little holding on to both of his hands "bye ash".
