Getting to know mable

I woke up to crying. i guess it was Aj. I looked next to me and seen aug knocked. I laughed a little to myself and got up to brush my teeth real quick. I threw my hair in a messy bun and went to my guest room where Aj was crying his little eyes out. I hated seeing him cry. I picked him up from the bed and checked if he was wet. He wasnt so i guess he was hungry. I took him downstairs and seen that mable was up fixing breakfast. "hi mable". she turned around and smiled at me. " Hi.. Dani right" i shook my head yes and sat down with Aj in my lap and tried to feed him. He kept moving his head. so i guess he wasnt hungry. I stood up and lightly bounced him to try to relax him. " whats wrong with son" august asked coming down the stairs. "i have no clue he wasnt wet and he wasnt hungry so i dont know". August took Aj out my hands and immediately stopped crying. I guess he was away from his daddy too long and woke up in a strange room. "aww look aug all he wanted was his daddy thats so cute". August looked at me with a stank face. "why the face aug". "cause what you said was kind of fruity". I mugged him and went back in the kitchen with mable. I sat down on the counter. "so miss mable how long have you worked for aug". "oh hunny just call me mama m but anyway i worked for aug for about 5 years. You see i owned this diner and he would always come in. sometimes with that thing called his girlfriend oh girl i couldnt stand her. plus she was ugly with that fake ass butt of hers. Anyway we became close. my diner ended going out of business so he hired me. Then he got that bitch pregnant ooh i was heated. He thought his mom was pissed i was so upset. But that all changed when i seen little Aj. August is a good man just has some bad ways. He just wanna be loved and i see that you can give that to him. You've been there for him with this case and everything. i know his mom would love you." "Where is his mom if you dont mind me askin". "well she found out his life style and kicked him out. he stayed at my house. He always took care of her tho. once he got more than enough money he moved his mom and the rest of his family to atlanta so they wouldnt get hurt by his lifestyle. I promised her i would always take of him.". I was shocked he did that. "wow i didn't even know he did any of that.". "Yea aug has always been i great boy now go get him so we can eat like a family". I hopped off the counter and walked into my living room. "aug its time to eat". "ight" . He put Aj down. cause all that crying he did tired him put. He stood up and kissed my lips. i smiled at him and grabbed his hand and pulled him into the kitchen. "wassup mable". I smacked aug in this back of his head. "Don't address mama m like that". "Who?" "Mama g". "Who the hell is that". "Me child" mable said while rubbing the back of his head. we fixed our plates and said grace then dug in. "so mama g tell me about yourself" i told her while cutting up my pancakes. "well im 57 and im damn sexy. i have no kids well i couldnt have kids never knew why tho. i have all the little boys on me. including this one." she pointed to August . August blew her a kiss and winked at her. i laughed at them. "but im just an old lady making it". I nodded my head in understanding. "aug you havea good one here i can tell i believe your mother would love her". I looked at august and he winked at me. I leaned in and pecked his lips. For the first time i seen him blush. He looked down to hide it. Mable started laughing. "aww look miss dani has big bad boy August blushing." I laughed at her cause she can be childish. "Dani where is your mom i would love the woman that birthed this amazing woman". "Well mama m my mom overdosed on drugs when i was 14". "Oh sweet heart im sorry i didnt know". "Its ok but how do you put up with this big headed boy" i said trying to change the subject. "well just gotta have patience. good lord this boy can be a handful. i remember one time he had a cold. This man acted as if he was dying. I stayed at his house for a week straight. i was ready to kill him my damn self.". I laughed cause that seems what august would do. We all talked for what seemed like hours till she left. Aj was still sleep. "well aug we have our last session of court tomorrow. you nervous?" "Yea man i dont wanna be found guilty". "Well all we can do is pray baby". "Yea just gotta pray".
