3rd POV:

"You've got to be kidding me!" Said Gilgamesh, who vented her annoyance at Veldanava who paid no mind.

As they left the summoning cave, the two had been on an endless search for something apart from pure barren sands in this massive desert for around half a day already, with Gilgamesh resisting the urge to enter her spiritual form.

"I've been on worse journeys than this, but this is boring and irritating!"

"Really?" Veldanava asked as he created an ice popsicle and tasted it. "Apart from the hot winds and the texture of sand, I think this generally isn't that terrible."

"What in the world is that thing? A stick of ice?"

"It's called Ice popsicle, Ice pop, Ice lolly whatever, but it's something delicious to taste in these hot times. The best element is that it's a special one with Ice that won't melt to the high temperature before you put it in your mouth."

He then nibbled a small part of the treat while admiring how cooling it was in contrast to the desert's temperature, not noticing Gilgamesh's jealous side-eye at him.

"Hey, you got a spare?" She asked, to which Veldanava nodded.

"Give me one."

"Sure thing." Veldnava then created another one with a package and tossed it at Gilgamesh, catching and unwrapping it as she mimicked Veldanava on how he consumed it.

Savoring the treat, the king was so captivated by the chilling, sweet taste of this thing that her eyes were filled with stars, almost forgetting the usual manners she kept, gobbling up the rest of it while wiping her mouth.

"What a treat, even the sweets and deserts in Uruk served to me are nowhere close to this masterpiece!" She praised.

"This is something my friend introduced me to, a product made by mankind of a more modern age..." Veldanava said.

"Humanity, huh?" Gilgamesh asked, intrigued by the progress of mankind after her death. "How are they doing?"

"Well, I can't answer your question about this, which is your universe. The universe I came from is still far from complete, for the ugliness and flaws of humanity lingered even after so long..."

Speaking of which, he then remembered somebody else's original universe, a place where humans have entered a new age of technology and modernity.

"But the universe where my friend came from, as he is reincarnated, his world was modern and civilized, where technologies and logic thrived. That is also the world he wanted to strive for, wishing to mold the universe we inhabited into this image."

"What an ambitious man for a mortal." She commented.

"He's a being with strength, charisma, care, and many other great traits, that make him both respected and feared in the eyes of humans." Veldanava recounted his memories of Satoru.

"As the being above, I decided to refrain myself from messing with humans too much and let them figure things out themselves. But after time, the flaws of humanity got to them and I realized that I would need a mortal to carry out what must be done in my place."

Listening to Veldanava intently, despite not acting as such, Gilgamesh then spoke up.

"Let me guess, the mortal's your friend?"

"Yes, he accepted my request and started cleaning up the evils of humanity one by another with a few others as a team. After thousands, millions of years of his path of evolution, he became unbeatable apart from me, no mortal being could overwhelm his strength. Not even my sister could."

"You have a sister too?"

"Yeah? Particularly she's in love with him but he doesn't know due to his uh, insensitiveness."

"Doesn't that make your sister on the same level as you do?"

"No, she was created by my leaked magicules, the term for the energies our universes use, and at the time I'm also using an avatar, so she isn't on my true levels where I truly have no restraints."

"How fascinating your world is, was my knowledge still too limited in comparison to yours, deity?" Gilgamesh said, admiring Veldanava's experiences as they refreshed her knowledge of her age about gods and mortals.

Not giving a reply, Veldnaava looked at her with a frown and a smirk, causing Gilgamesh to be confused.

"What's wrong, something on my face?"

"Well, nothing. Just a bit surprised." Veldanava said as he returned his gaze to the front as the two walked.

He isn't going to tell her that he was looking at her with such a gaze due to his surprise over her admitting her lack of knowledge compared to him, a supreme deity who lived since the beginning.

He wasn't even familiar with her legend, but judging from how she mainly behaved, he could tell that she was a prideful woman with an ego above many. He finds her to be an interesting individual, but her pride would be one hell to handle.
