3rd POV:

Deciding to find ways to ease his current boredom while they rested inside this newly constructed temporary home, Veldanava took a small nap after reading several pages of a small book beside him on the couch.

As a being that required no mortal necessities like eating or sleeping for energy and various purposes, he still does it for pleasure. Was it influences from the mortals he knew? Surely it is.

It has already been a day past their decision to rest, with the two residents each minding their businesses, Veldanava focused mainly on further expanding the available functions of their base, and GIlgamesh doing the Gilgamesh thing...

Having her enjoyment all around the house with all the luxuries, she currently stood on the balcony of her room, admiring the contrast between greenery and barren sands.

Greenery? Isn't this a vast desert? At best, there are only mountains nearby to the boundaries, how come greens?

In reality, the two wanted to improve their surroundings a little, so they decided to terraform and turn a good amount of nearby areas into greens instead of their original, lifeless yellow sands.

Now that the change has been done, it makes this area even from afar, look like a small spot of oasis paradise among the nearby environments.

"This is more like it. Such beauty and grand rightfully belongs to me."

The blonde said, leaving the room. She headed to the living room to fetch herself some snacks in the morning. While traveling through the long hallways, she remembered the drafted plans made by Veldanava shortly after settling down for the time being.

"There's a kingdom in the hearts of the desert, a region filled with various scattered villages across the wild mountains, and lastly, the white city of 'Camelot' ruled by a bunch of knights and the Lion King..."

She muttered, for Veldanava planned to eventually pay visits to those places if possible in peace, as they were going to travel across this singularity anyway at the start.

"It has truly been quite a while since the last time I had left Uruk and traveled outside the vast lands of man. Oh well, that was when I was still alive back then, a long time ago."

Chuckling at the memories, She made her way to her destination, opening a cabinet and opening a bottle of wine, pouring it gently into a glass, and taking a small sip of it.

"Mm, splendid product."

She complimented, before looking around she found the god resting silently on a couch in the corner near an opened window, drooling in his sleep.

Putting down the glass, she proceeded to the couch and she tapped his shoulders to see his reaction. But he didn't respond at all, not yet waking up.

"Hmph, alright."

Gilgamesh sighed as she sat on the other side of the wide couch, before noticing the small book Veldanava was reading before falling asleep.

"What's this?"

Driven by curiosity, she grabbed the book which lacked a name, its cover being the most simplistic the king had ever seen with her eyes, with no words, decorations, or even the author it.

Flipping to the bookmarked page where Veldanava had just finished and marked, she began reading it from the beginning.

World peace is not an easy thing, considering the nature of most of humanity, it is filled with conflict and violence. But there are also good-hearted, kind people. It is those who understood and trusted in me and my ideals who supported me and provided the help I needed at the most crucial times.

Some say that I'm a savior, hero of nations, the preserver of the natural order, those fancy nicknames go on, and I swear most of them are quite cliche to me.

I have simply done work that is enough to unite humanity, not under a country, a faction, or a man, but peace. Something that I spent 40% of my life working on after knowing my best friends.

Now, the days are good but simple. I wake up and get greeted by Velda and Velzard in all kinds of ways, maybe Nobu when she feels like it. (She's one hell of a manas in my mind, but always helpful.)
