Allie's POV
Georgia, 8:00 AM
"Welcome to Georgia"
"We're Glad Georgia's On Your Mind"written on the sign by the road, now splattered with blood.
"We're here! So long, Georgia," I shouted.
"Looks like zombies came all the way to Georgia to welcome us!" Louis said and shot them all.
"So, what city does your boyfriend Duke live in?" Maggie asked.
"The capital, Atlanta. We'll be there in about an hour," I responded.
After some time...
Charlie wakes up.
"Good day, Charlie!" I greeted him, and he smiled.
We parked somewhere because barricades blocked the road. We all got out of the car.
"Who the heck made these barricades? They're blocking our way," I said, upset.
"Can we just remove them or take another route?" Maggie suggested.
"Whoever removes the barricade will be shot dead, and we'll feed you to the zombies," a man shouted, laughing with his friends and pointing their guns at us.
"Charlie, get behind me!" Maggie commanded.
"We're not wasting our time on you, you pillock," I insulted him.
"What did you just call me!?" the man argued, holding his gun tightly.
"Pillock. You're a pillock. You don't know anything; you're just stupid!" I insulted him again, and suddenly, he punched me in the face.
"Allie! What have you done, man?" Louis argued.
Maggie is worried, and Charlie tries not to cry.
"What!? Are you gonna fight us, little boy?" the man said.
"Just let us go peacefully, remove your fucking barricades that block our way, and that's it!" I shouted, feeling pain in my head.
"Our rules are to get back where you came from, or you'll all get shot if you try to go our way!" the man said, laughing.
"You're not just a pillock; you're a goddamn asshole too," I insulted him again.
"Allie, we're getting killed here. They're more than just criminals," Maggie warned.
"What's happening here, Peter?" a tall, muscular guy said.
"Oh, so your goddamn name is Peter. Like Peter the pillock," I insulted him again for what he did to me, and his colleagues laughed.
"Stop laughing. Anyway, Master Conrad, this is just a little misunderstanding," Peter the pillock looked embarrassed.
"Little misunderstanding!? What did you do to her face?" Conrad asked, looking worried.
"Obviously, Peter just punched her in the face because she insulted him," one colleague said.
"Insults!? What kind of insults?" Conrad asked.
"She called Peter a pillock," one colleague said, trying not to laugh.
"But you truly are a pillock, Peter. Are you a little boy or something?" Conrad said.
"I'm very sorry, especially to you. What's your name?" Conrad asked.
"I'm Allie," I responded.
"I'm Conrad, the master here," he proudly said.
"Oh, I heard it somehow," I said softly.
"By the way, let's get you inside so we can treat your pain," Conrad said.
After some time...
"Allie, are you okay?" Conrad asked softly.
"I'm fine, just feeling a little pain," I said softly.
"So, why are you here in Georgia? Are you traveling or something?" Conrad asked, kidding aside.
"No, we're not. We're going to Atlanta to see my boyfriend, but unexpectedly, the barricades blocked our way," I informed him.
"Yeah, the barricades. We'll remove them," Conrad said uncomfortably and suddenly left.
Then Maggie, Charlie, and Louis came in...
"We need to get out of here. I feel something's wrong," Maggie said.
"Me too. I think they're hiding something," Louis said and tried to find something.
Louis saw a hidden cage where all the zombies inside were women, looking like they were in pain and tortured before they were forcibly bitten.
"Gosh, we need to hurry. I think you're the next victim, Allie!" Louis worried.
We started walking silently, leaving the creepy place, but Conrad saw us and tried to stop us.
"You will never get out of here!" Conrad said.
It creeped me out. I thought he was a friend, but somehow all of them were foes. Then, Conrad pushed a button, and the door to the way out closed.
"Are you leaving me behind?" Conrad asked.
"What did I do to you, Conrad? I thought you'd help us. I thought you were a friend, but all of you, not just Peter, are pillocks!"
"Yeah, you can say whatever you want. Freedom of speech!" Conrad said, annoyed.
"I knew you were once a good person. Please just let us leave!" Charlie said.
"Look who's speaking. A little boy back there! Do you want to play with a gun or a sniper?" Conrad said and laughed.
"You're insane!" I shouted at him.
"I'm more than insane!" Conrad shouted back.
"Let us leave, and no one will die," Maggie said, starting to point a gun at Conrad.
"Easy, easy on that. I want you to see the cage of death. Show it to them!" Conrad commanded.
"Yeah, it doesn't surprise us," Louis said.
"Maybe you will be surprised if we get you inside the cage," Conrad said and laughed.
"Boys, tie them up. It's party time!" Conrad commanded.
"Don't you dare touch us, or I will shoot your head!" I threatened them.
Then Peter came out of nowhere and suddenly unlocked the cage, leading to the zombies eating him and his colleagues. We killed the zombies approaching us, and Conrad tried to escape.
"Where are you going, Conrad?" I grinned at him.
"I'm sorry! I just wanted a woman who would love me!" Conrad said.
"No woman will settle for you, Conrad, unless you start changing yourself for the better!" I informed him.
Conrad approaches me and suddenly hold my hand tightly, intending to fall into the zombies with me, but luckily, I hung on and hold the metal.
We left that place later on, and the barricades were removed. We drive all the way to Atlanta, Georgia.
