Jacksonville Florida.
Tonight I'm finally making my in-ring debut!
When I first stepped foot into the building everyone was feasting their eyes on ME.
Tonight will be all about me and I am going to show the whole crowd what I'm made of.
I was making my way down to the dressing room, pulling my travel case along as I was talking to my dad on the phone.
"I swear to you dad, once I step foot into the AEW ring, you're going to be so proud of the progress I've completed. And then next time, you'll show the entire world that I am part of your Learning Tree. I know that you'll be pleased" I spoke positively over the phone.
My dad responded to me on the other end of it "Good. That's what I'd like to hear. I have a huge feeling that you will succeed in tonight's match. I know you can."
"Oh, dad? That guy, Big Bill? He seems promising. Do you believe that he is worthy and fit of your guidance?" I asked.
"To be honest, he does seem promising. I have a good hunch about him. I just need to see how he does when his match goes on next time"
"You think anybody else here would want to be a part of the Learning Tree?"
"Only time will tell. Anyway I will let you go so that you can be prepared for your match. I wish you the best of luck, my angel."
"Alright, dad. And thanks" I lastly said then hung up.
I now arrived at the dressing room and I went ahead to go change into my wrestling attire.
As I was about to change, I saw a figure approach me from my peripheral vision.
"Word goes around that Chris Jericho's daughter will be making her in-ring debut tonight. Well let's just hope that daddy's little girl will be great as everyone expects....." A female said with a snarky attitude.
When I glanced over, I saw that it was my tonight's opponent, Taya Valkyrie. She stood there with smugness on her face.
I looked her in the eyes while I nonchalantly folded my arms with no care. "Well, Taya. If I am as great as everyone says then you better hope for your sake that you don't eat your own words." I said in return with the same attitude she used on me.
"Hm.. We'll see about that" Taya said then for a bit, she stood staring at me with that smug still plastered on her face. She stares intently at me as if looking deep into my soul. It's like she's trying to find a way to judge me.
Then Taya said "Anyway, may the best girl win" she extended her hand out towards me.
I took a moment to look her up and down then I reluctantly shook her hand then went ahead to get changed.
