Jumping right into it.
My match was going underway already, going toe to toe with Riho.
Fans were really rooting for the Japanese athlete herself.
Throughout the match, Riho was slick and fast which gives her the advantage to outsmart me in certain wrestling maneuvers and holds.
I also managed to counter her stunts, throw her down and nailed her with a few rough strikes.
When I Irish whipped her toward the ropes and I got myself ready to attempt an armdrag but Riho rebounded only to do a swift cartwheel, rebounds from the ropes again to do a jumping knee strike.
But I quickly avoided it and roughly took her out by the legs from behind. From there I went for the cover but Riho kicked out at two.
Back on our feet, Riho hit me with a right forearm then followed it with a jumping knee strike.
Riho attempted another move but I countered it by planting a belly to belly suplex, causing my opponent to crash down on the mat of the ring.
Then eventually, I went straight to apply my signature move "Heavenly Sleep" (A rear triangle choke).
The referee went to check Riho a few times but she was unresponsive which eventually led me to win.
The bell signaled then soon, my theme song blasted as fans were cheering and the other half booing but it didn't matter what the fans thought. As long as I got the win, I'm good.
I would celebrate my win for a bit until eventually, I heard my dad's theme go off into the arena.
While catching my breather, I was confused on why he decided to come out.
When I saw my dad enter the arena, smiling and waving to the crowd, I could see him holding a clipboard. But of what? I didn't understand. Is he out here to congratulate me on my win and give me a reward?
But that wasn't it since I saw a group of AEW security following my dad from behind. Now I know this can't be good....
Once my father, Chris has entered the ring, he waved to the crowd and spoke into the microphone. "Hi guys!"
The crowd seemed to say "hi" back.
For a moment, I remained at the corner and wondered what my dad was out here for, so I was all ears.
