I didn't go out the whole day at natulog nalang. Hindi ko pa nababawi ang pagod kahapon.

It is a good thing that Kahel is with his father right now, marahil ay naaaliw sa pamamasyal. Saka ko lang nakita ang anak ko nang magdinner party kami sa outdoor function hall ng resort.

"Mommy, why didn't I see you earlier? We went swimming and we build sand castles!" he said happily habang nakayakap sa aking leeg. Oh, my clingy baby.

"I slept, baby. Para may energy si Mommy tomorrow." I kissed his cheeks.

"Can you call Dad, Mommy?"

I caressed his cheek. "Anak, we can't have Daddy's time always. Some people also require his presence."

Two seconds and his mouth parted a little. He looked taken aback when he realized that we were staring at him.

"Daddy..." Kahel mumbled in sadness. Napalabi ito at namumula na din ang mata.

Without a second to waste, Kielo stood up abruptly kahit kinakausap pa ito ng mga kasama niya.

My mouth parted in shock. What is he doing?

It's impossible that he heard Kahel's whisper calling him in sadness, napakalayo ng table nila.

Sina Tita Vanessa at Tita Julia na nasa tabing table ay napangiti sa nakikita.

"I'm here, baby. I'm always here." sabi ni Kielo sa anak.

Umupo si Kielo sa aking tabi habang karga ang anak. Even the table of his cousins were looking at us. Ice, Santi, and Winter wants to get Kahel ngunit ayaw naman nitong sumama sa mga tito niya.
