After your strange encounter with that tall shadowy figure, you were a bit more determined to find your way out of the forest as quickly as possible. If that figure was dangerous who knows what could have happened to you? Sure, you had magic, but it wasn't magic that you could protect yourself with. The only magic you had was love magic that could only be placed on others to fall in love with anyone but yourself. And, demigoddesses aren't exactly undying either. They can live longer than the average mortal, but when it comes down to it, they can die just the same. Demigods rarely died though because unless their powerful parent gave up on them, they were to be protected.

The thought of your dad filled you with sadness. You began to wonder about what he was doing at that moment. He was probably getting all sappy over some romance movie, knowing him. Even though you missed him, you knew that leaving the nest was the best decision. You were getting older by the day and you longed for some adventures to embark on.

As thoughts of your old home and what experiences you wanted to have traveled throughout your mind, you mindlessly walked through the forest, occasionally glancing around to make sure no more lean figures were watching you.

Eventually, you saw a brown roof to a small home. You began running to the edge of the small mountain you had been trapped on for some time and saw a whole town. The town looked so simple yet so cozy. Your eyes twinkled almost as bright as the sun as it was shining on the small town.

"Yes! I made it out of that cursed forest! Haha!"

You thrust your fist up towards the sky in victory as you jumped up and down.

The scenery in the mortal realm, to you, was absolutely enchanting. Back at your father's palace you didn't see much greenery and shrubs like they had here. Sometimes, your father would bring you a flower as a souvenir from his visits to Goddess Flora's homestead. You always wanted to see Goddess Flora in person, but your father didn't quite think you were ready to associate with other gods and goddesses just yet. He thought you might come off as eager and overly-excitable, which apparently wasn't great to certain beings. Still though, you held your head high in hopes that one day you could be cherished by all of the gods.

As you made your way down to the town below you saw something strange. There was a walking....fish lady?...on the streets.

You knelt down a bit and began to creep down some more until you were on the same level as the road, and then hid behind a bush. The lady was definitely NOT human. She had blue skin with red hair up in a high ponytail and she was wearing a white shirt covered by a black leather jacket and some blue jeans. Beside her was a short yellow reptile that was dressed in a black dress with white polka dots on it.

What are they.....?

You had never seen anything like them in your entire life.

Your father only ever taught you about humans and how humans lived, but never told you anything about weird fish ladies and yellow dinosaurs. You watched as the two walked along the sidewalk, conversing with one another casually, and the more that you watched them you had decided that they were in love with each other.

Good on them...whatever they are...

A smile crept onto your face as you observed how flustered the yellow reptile got whenever the blue fish lady would look at her. You were so lost in the cuteness of the moment that you didn't see the fish lady turn to look at the bush you were hiding behind. Her face twisted to look angry and concerned. She began slowly walking up to the bush.

SHIT! WHAT DO I DO?!?!

You looked around for anything that could help you but you didn't find anything useful. Your mind was telling you to get up and run but your body wouldn't cooperate.
