Blue POV:

Blue was pretty excited about your arrival. Papyrus had come home immediately after hanging out with you and began spilling about how nice you were to everyone. At first, everyone insisted that you should come Saturday, but Papyrus begged Sans to let you come over a day early. Not that Blue minded. He would be delighted to make a new human friend! After all, it was kind of rare for a human to immediately warm up to monsters the way Papyrus claimed you did, even if it's been a few years since the monsters found their way to the surface.

Papyrus and Blue immediately started touching on the topic of lunch. Blue vouched for his tacos while Papyrus vouched for his friendship spaghetti. And of course, Black and Edge chimed in with their meal ideas.

After a while of going back and forth, they decided to just make all of their signature meals. Papyrus said that you would absolutely love being able to try all of their dishes, and that made Blue very excited. It was then that Black insisted that the human should decide which meal was the best after they had tried all of them. Edge humored him and decided that it was a good idea. So now, they were competing against each other, with you as the unknowing judge.

Just lovely.

Stretch POV:

Stretch wasn't too excited about your arrival. Sans had spouted to him, Red, and Mutt about how you were most definitely hiding something. Though the way Papyrus had acted about you had him more curious. He had gushed about you the whole time, and Stretch had teased him about maybe having a crush on you. He hoped that wasn't the case though. If Sans had said that you were hiding something, you definitely were, and he didn't want you being around his brother or any of the others. Stretch just wanted to ensure everyone's safety.

He watched from the couch as his brother, Blue, began talking with Papyrus about what they were going to serve their guest. Stretch brought the lit cigarette he was holding to his teeth as he thought about you eating the meal. It was always funny to watch humans try and stomach Blue's tacos.

better grab Edge's meal first...

CHIRP! CHIRP!

You awoke to the sounds of birds chirping loudly on a tree near you with the sunshine intruding your vision. You winced a bit and moved to shield your eyes from the sun while shifting to sit upright. It was now Friday morning, also known as the day you would get to meet the skeleton brother's cousins. Even though you were supposed to be excited, you couldn't help but feel bummed about last night. Sadness began to bubble up in your core again but you quickly dismissed it.

I don't have time to worry about that right now. I have lunch at Papyrus's house today, which means that I have to go to the bathhouse again.

You got up from your spot on the park bench and grabbed all of your belongings, including your mirror-phone, and rushed off in the direction of the bathhouse. On your way there you mentally practiced the way you were going to greet their cousins.

Hi there! I'm Y/N! It's nice to meet all of you! Or I could be a bit more chill and say......Sup I'm Y/N L/N....eh I might just stick with the first one..

To you, first impressions were always a big deal because it influenced how the recipient might view you forever. Every time you chatted with someone, they would remember the way you first introduced yourself to them. And you wanted Sans and Papyrus's cousins, and everyone else in the world you might meet, to be absolutely impressed and pleased with your greeting.
