It was time to get up, and the music on his alarm clock already told him so. Cage woke up confused and dizzy, with a terrible, bitter taste in his mouth.
He shouldn't have exaggerated so much the night before, that was a bad idea. But since Cris is gone and he's alone, he has nothing else to do but drink. After all, there would be no one to complain about this habit of his. In fact, there was no one in his mansion...The actor couldn't ignore the fact that he missed someone by his side. Nothing like his friends, fans and booze can fill he in. He wanted to experience some real feeling, nothing like these fake movie acting ones. He wanted to feel something real.
Maybe it's the alcohol that's making him so melancholic. After all, Johnny Cage doesn't have a bad time, he never shows weakness or vulnerability. He's the guy everyone likes and admires. He's not the kind of guy who spends the night drinking and crying. No no! He...He...
Why does he want to deceive by lying to himself like this? Johnnatan Carlton is a guy with problems with drinking, love and life, who, away from the cameras, has a pain that cannot be seen by anyone other than himself. And at home he could stop acting and be this man...Then Carlton tried to muster the strength to get up, but it seemed impossible. He was still too dizzy to stand up, his legs felt wobbly and his head was too heavy to maintain his balance. John, after a few failed attempts, decided to gave up, contenting himself with spending the rest of the day lying down so the hangover could go away.
But after a few moments, a noise at the door caught his attention, it was Kenshi, or rather Takahashi, his hired private security guard who he had forgotten was now also frequenting his home.
The man, as always, was dressed in his best formal attire, this time wearing black pants and a red formal blouse, pulled up, leaving his tattoos on display. Damn maybe it can be the alcohol but it fits pretty well on him. So damn pretty and hot"Good morning sunshine." The actor tried hard to at least keep himself sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning against his pillow, and then with a forced smile he greeted the man.
"Morning." And as always Takahashi maintained his "charisma".
"Oh that's smell good." The actor noticed Kenshi bringing with him a tray full of scented things on top. "What is it?" He asked, curious to know what had been prepared.
"Breakfast." The Japanese answered him obviously. "I figured your hangover would get in your way today, so the best way to help it pass is to eat." Carefully, he placed the tray on the actor's lap.
And so Johnny could notice the wide variety of things he was being served. Scrambled eggs, a few slices of bacon and toast occupied the plate, there was a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee and in the corner a small portion of fruit on a bridge.
"Wow that's perfect" The actor thanked in a failed gesture of trying to arch forward in gratitude. And then he turned back to his plate, picking up his fork to eat his eggs.
Kenshi remained by his side while he ate his meal, perhaps it was because of the work of supervising him 24 hours a day, but he kept staring at him in that crossed-armed way that was starting to become scary. So to break the ice, Cage began to say.
"Did I...Made some shit yeaterday?" He asked frankly. Kenshi thought twice before speaking.
"Well, you and a guy with a weird hat took over the karaoke at the end of the night, leaving no one else to sing, you also tried to jump off the table but ended up tripping over your drink and falling on one of the guests, you cried in the bathroom and threw up in me." He hesitated to talk about the kiss but thought it best not to and gave up.
"Well at least I'll have good stories to tell." Carlton laughed, gesturing his fork with the eggs before taking them to his mouth. "You know, my immunity to drinking has weakened over the years, it seems that I feel the effect faster now."
