Narasimha stormed upstairs. He was surely getting late for work but because this was related to Naira, he was forced to delay his departure. Stacy was behind him, close on his heels. The cast was still around her arm yet she was able to do her daily chores. Now when Narasimha reached Naira's room, he failed to meet the basic courtesies and pushed the door open violently. Naira, who was sitting on the bed, shuddered and flinched at the sound of door opening. She looked at the door and found her captor standing on the threshold, looking clearly annoyed if not livid. The bunny snuggled into her tummy at the sight of the big monster. His nose twitched uncontrollably.
"Naira love, what am I hearing!!!! You haven't finished your breakfast. Is that so???" he asked her sharply, his hands in his pockets. Naira looked down nervously.
"I wasn't that hungry." she told him softly, rubbing bunny's fur. Narasimha frowned.
"That's no excuse Naira. I don't want you falling sick. You need to eat more." he told her coldly, angered by her laid back attitude regarding food. She needed to eat more. He wouldn't mind if she puts up few extra pounds. He would love her even if she becomes chubby.
"I don't want to." she replied quietly. Narasimha would've lashed out at her if only he wasn't reminded by his heart that he loved this girl madly. Stacy was right behind him. She peeked through the door to watch the drama.
"Naira. I am not loving this attitude. What's the problem??? Why are you being so stubborn???" he asked scoldingly. Naira fought back her tears.
"I don't know. Maybe because today's my grandpa's birthday and I am here in this house, far away from him." she told him ruefully. His eyes softened. For all his love for him, the girl still missed her family and that's very natural considering she comes from a very normal family, unlike him whose family was a complete shit show all the time. Even at that, Narasimha still was quite a bit annoyed with her not forgetting about her family altogether. I mean she doesn't need them anyway. He's there for her. He is all she needs and should need. What more do you want when you have a husband who loves you beyond the limits of madness. She needs to forget her family but obviously his tactics haven't had met success yet.

He walked towards her and sat next to her. She shifted on the bed uneasily. Narasimha wanted to shout at her for trying to run away from him all the time but he refrained from doing so.
"Is there anything that I can i do to make you feel happy??" he asked sweetly, eager to please her. She looked away blankly.
"You don't have to do anything for me. I don't expect anything from you." she spoke softly yet disdain in her tone was quite evident. Narasimha actually felt hurt from her words. He genuinely cared about her and therefore her words impacted him in a million ways.
"I don't understand Naira.....why are you being so rude to me!!!" he asked heartbroken. Obviously he wouldn't count his own actions that led to this situation. I mean wasn't he the one who tried to roast the poor bunny last night??? But that's for us to understand because an obsessed freak like him would never understand what he has done.
"I am not being rude. I am rude to nobody." she argued, upset that he wouldn't leave her alone. He clenched his fist.
"Naira I am trying to make you happy....."
"I think you are getting late for work." she told him flatly, hugging the bunny tightly. Narasimha was shocked. If he was guessing before, now he was completely sure that she was upset with him. Was it because of this 8 kgs of protein snuggling into her tummy??? He frowned. He should've roasted him last night. His dogs would love to have a rabbit for dinner.
"Maybe you need time!!" he whispered as he stood up and walked out of the door.

When he returned home from work, he straight went up to her room to meet her. He even bought flowers for her. But as soon as he opened the door to her room, he found her asleep on the bed. The bunny was sleeping on the rug. He smiled as he placed the flowers on the table and moved towards the bed. He placed a kiss on her forehead and uttered a quick I love you before leaving for his own room.

It was around midnight that screams were heard coming from Narasimha's room. Apparently he was yelling and cussing at somebody. That man happened to be Srinivasan aka Siri, Narasimha gave him that name. He was his cousin and also his PA. Today however, Narasimha wasn't too pleased with his cousin brother.
"You told me if I kidnap her and tell her a story, she would fall in love with me.....what was that.....symptom!!! I can't...."
"Stockholm Syndrome." Siri completed. Narasimha glared at him.
"Whatever that was. It clearly isn't working. She's so upset with me!!!"
"Did I tell you to roast the bunny???"
"Shut up!!!! That's not even the point."
"But she is pissed off because she loves the rabbit and you tried to make a tandoori rabbit out of him." Siri quipped. Narasimha looked at him hatefully.
"I hate that fluffy creature. Don't you think he is a bit too cuddly and touchy???" asked he jealously. Siri rolled his eyes.
"He's just an animal and I can assure you he isn't wanting to take away your Naira from you!!!" Siri explained. Narasimha huffed as he sank into his chair.

He poured some whiskey for himself and dropped some ice cubes inside the glass.
"It's too difficult Siri. I want her love and she looks at me as if I am a monster." he said as he gulped down the liquor. His face twisted as bitter taste of the alcohol hit his senses. Siri dropped the files on the table and knelt beside him.
"I may have another idea but you will have to promise that you won't shoot me." said Siri. Narasimha beckoned him to go ahead. Siri gingerly looked up at him while clearing his throat.
"Let her go!!!!" and he was lifted up by his collar. He was sure he saw birds around his eyes when Narasimha looked dead into his eyes.
"Let her go!!! Hmmmm!!!! Let my baby girl go.....Do you want me to kill you!!!!" he barked, his eyes spitting fire. Siri gulped.
"You promised you won't kill me!!! Atleast give me a chance to speak." he begged fearfully. Narasimha threw him on the floor and gestured him to continue.
"Anna!!! If you'll let her go than she will develop respect for you in her heart. And slowly you can take advantage of that respect and make way into her heart. Possibly you can win over her family so they might start liking you......and the end result of this!!! You getting married to her!!! How's that!!!" a classic example of one blind leading the other. Probably cretins like these two can predict such a possibility because sane minds would never.

Desperation sometimes leads you astray. Poor Narasimha, desperate to win Naira's love, would go to any lengths to keep her with him. Therefore Siri's idea didn't sound that bad. Besides, she also was growing more hostile and cold to him and to win her love and affection, he might endure giving a little freedom to her.
"Maybe you are right!! Maybe not!!! But I will try for sure..... I will win her love. Either by her own volition or by coercion." he spoke firmly. Siri breathed a sigh of relief.
