"What!!! And he's invited you to the cafe!!! Just tell me you don't plan to meet him." Kirti whisper yelled at her. Naira looked down nervously. Ofcourse she never wanted to meet him, but does she have a choice???
"I don't know. Besides I can't....bhaiya picks me up from college and ever since I have returned home, my family is not leaving me alone even for a second. I understand their situation and I also don't want to be left alone either.....somehow it's just so unsettling to be alone, I feel like he would just appear before my eyes out of nowhere. I can't possibly ask my brother to drop me off to Springs cafe.....it would be so awkward to tell him that I am planning to meet my own kidnapper. I am in such a bad place right now....i don't know what to do." Naira told her ruefully. Kirti crossed her arms over her chest.
"Than just don't go. What's the big deal??" she asked seriously. Naira looked up at her tentatively.
"I don't think you understand Kirti. He's not a person you would want to piss off. I mean, I have seen his anger and somehow, if I don't do what he asks me to do....he just gets all worked up. And he even has that bunny....I pleaded him to let me keep him but he said to me that the bunny was the only way he could keep in touch with me and therefore refused to hand him to me. I am afraid he would do something bad to the poor rabbit." Naira told her aghast. Kirti gasped loudly. The way Naira was describing him, it was very clear that the man was unhinged. Animal cruelty is a crime and if he's acting towards a poor rabbit in such a diabolical manner, there are all chances that he might mete out the same treatment to humans as well. And as a loyal friend, Kirti was bound to feel concerned about the safety of her best friend.
"Naira....is that all??? Has he ever you know....um... did he ever try to do something bad to you??" Kirti asked warily. Naira shook her head in a no.
"No. He was nice to me while I was in his house." she said softly. Kirti nodded.
"I don't quite understand this guy. At one hand, he is all nice to you but at the other hand, he's so fractious and loose tempered that he doesn't shy away from threatening you. Look Naira, this man is a bad news....just stay far away from him. You don't have to meet him anymore. If he starts to bother you, tell your family about it. Just don't give in to his threats." kirti suggested maturely. Naira nodded unsuredly.

Naira's brother picked her up from college and she didn't ask him to stop at the springs cafe because she wanted to not have any bond with the man called Narasimha Varma. She didn't want to talk to him or even see him. Therefore she chose to ignore him. And fortunately she didn't receive any calls from him which was a huge relief as she was getting real terrified at the mere thought of his angry voice on the phone. She spent her day sleeping, scrolling through Instagram, eating and nothing else. However as the sun started to sink, Naira could feel anxiety brewing inside her. She was restless for some reason. And sometimes you got to listen to that inner voice of yours because as Naira was trying to fight off her anxiety, she heard few voices coming from downstairs. She immediately ran downstairs and got the biggest shock of her life. Her grandfather had a cast around his feet but that wasn't the worst thing, since the worst thing was standing right next to her grandfather. Any guesses who could it be??? Without any doubts, it was Narasimha Varma, staring at her with his cold, blank eyes. Naira immediately looked down, too scared to face him, knowing too well why he was so angry.
"Papa ji!!!" her mother gasped in shock as she saw her father-in-law sitting on the sofa, a cast around his feet. Her grandfather groaned in pain.
"I am fine my child. These brutes these days....you know a car was over speeding and it crashed into me. Thankfully it was only my feet that came under the wheel or else......huh!!! Thanks to Mr. Varma....he happened to be around and he took me to the hospital. Bless you my son!!!" her grandfather smiled weakly looking at Narasimha. Narasimha gave him a reassuring smile while eyeing Naira darkly. Naira gulped. She was trying hard to keep him away from her and her family but after this incident she wasn't sure if she would be successful in doing so.

Nilima steps into the hall and caught her biggest nemesis standing beside her injured grandfather. Her eyes glared at Narasimha while the latter chose to ignore her.
"Dadu are you ok??? And what is this criminal doing here in our house??" she asked bitterly. Naira's mother casted a rebuking glare at Naira.
"Nilima watch out your tongue, it's because of Mr. Varma that your grandfather is alive today. Have some manners child." her grandmother lashed out at her. Nilima glared at Narasimha hatefully.
"Oh really, and what was he doing at the site of accident??? Should we treat this as a coincidence??" she asked raising her brow. Narasimha looked at her blankly.
"I was waiting for someone in the Springs cafe..someone who never came." he spoke looking at Naira. Naira quivered under his dark gaze.
"But as I was leaving the cafe, I saw your grandfather lying on the ground, his leg was broken apparently. I rushed to him and took him to the nearby hospital." he told her calmly. Nilima wasn't buying anything. In her eyes he was a criminal, a criminal who was handsome but his good looks cannot exonerate him from his bad deeds. He deserved to be behind bars and in every way possible he needs to stay far away from her little sister.
"I am so sorry for Nilima's bad behaviour. We are so grateful for your help. Thank you so much." Neil tried to control the situation. Thankfully the rich visitor hadn't taken any major offence to whatever Nilima barked out at him.

Naira's horror was soon to come true as her father, who rushed to the house after being told about his father's accident, asked the wealthy kidnapper turned well wisher to stay for the dinner. At first he, for the sake of formality, kept turning down the offer but soon he accepted the invitation to dine with the family. Naira wasn't able to fathom why was her family being so kind to him but most importantly, why was he being such a sweet guy in front of her family??? Nilima had other reasons to hate him, firstly he was a criminal, secondly he was a pedophile who was lusting after her little sister and thirdly, he was a psychopath. Now, Nilima wasn't sure about the latter but somehow the voices in her head were quite certain that he was neurologically rearranged, in short he had serious mental illness. If he thinks Nilima never noticed the obsessive look in his eyes when Naira comes in front of him, than he's obviously a fool. Nilima took a note of everything, from his sweet facade to his unhinged voice change when he's angry....she notices it all. And as a sister, she will do everything to protect her little sister from an obsessive maniac like him.
"Please have some more." Naira's mother asked politely to Narasimha. Narasimha smiled and refused politely.
"Thank you but I have enough on my plate. By the way the food is delicious." he complimented. Naira's mother chuckled.
"Thank you Mr. Varma." she acknowledged. Naira was silently eating her food but she could feel his eyes on her. And she was feeling damn uncomfortable.
"Mom I am done." she said as she tried to leave for her room. Narasimha looked at her bewildered.
"Arey!!!! Eat some more." her father asked her. She quietly shook her head and ran upstairs to her room. Narasimha's grip around his spoon tightened.
"This girl!!! She never eats properly....unless it's pizza or burger." her mother whispered tiredly. Narasimha secretly rolled his eyes. He was aware of her eating habits and trust him but she was eating far better when she was with him compared to her eating habits here with them. Only he knows how to take good care of her. After all she's his princess.

Naira returned to her room and changed into her night clothes. And as her routine, she decided to use washroom before hopping into the bed. So she made her way to the washroom. But in the midway through the corridor, she was grabbed by her waist, spun round and pinned against the wall. She got no time to shout as a hand was smashed over her lips. A look of horror flashed across her face as she saw a pair of dark chocolate brown eyes staring down into her soul. Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw an angry Narasimha too close to her, so close that their bodies were touching.
"I told you to meet me up at Springs cafe but you didn't come. Did I not warn you of consequences that shall follow should you choose to not obey me???" he asked darkly, his deep husky voice coming out more refined as he spoke. Naira sobbed, having nothing to answer. Suddenly the look in his eyes changed and he even pulled away his hand from her lips. Her lips quivered as she tried to shout but no sound came. Abruptly he grab hold of her face, his warm calloused hands sending shivers down her spine.
"Naira I just want to be friends with you.....huh!!! I want to be your friend. I don't want you running away from me as if I am a demon." he spoke, not blinking even for once. Naira was definitely creeped out because his obsessive side was clearly showing up, although she was too innocent to see that. He smiled broadly, chilling her to the bone.
"Nayu....we can be best friends. Just you and me.....you wouldn't need any of your friends once you have me. You are understanding right!!" he asked, his eyes daring her to defy him. She nodded quickly, hoping he would now let her go. Instead he laughed and kissed her forehead before bringing her into his warm arms.
"We'll be perfect together....hmm!!!" he whispered elated. Naira's brows came together. What was he even talking about???
"My little flower, you broke my heart by not coming to meet me at the cafe today. But you have no idea what you mean to me which is why I will give you one more chance...."
"Please.... I can't come.....my brother comes to pick me up......." she whispered fearfully, crying. He smirked cunningly.
"If your brother is the problem then we'll have to deal with him. Right??" he said, voice coated with malice. She looked up at him innocently, turning him on.
"I don't understand." she said. He explored her face with his fingertips, memorising every little detail of her face.
"My beauty.....you have no idea what you've done to me. I swear I will make sure nobody is a hurdle between us." he whispered, studying her face obsessively. Naira was frightened. She could feel her heart racing. Clasping her hands tightly to her chest, she sobbed, hoping somebody would come to protect her. She desperately wanted to shout but she couldn't find her voice.
"Naira......" he whispered breathlessly, nose pressing into her hairs. Her toes curled as she cried helplessly. She could've run if his hands weren't placed on the either side of her body.
"You're my treasure......my Kohinoor.......and I know how to keep my treasures safe......I won't let anybody lay their dirty fingers on my treasure." he spoke darkly, spooking her to the core.
