Crash

I wake up as we drive over an ice bump in the road. I stretch my arms and I yawn tiredly. I look to the right to see my sister quietly sleeping with her head rested on the window. My mom quickly glances in the rear-view mirror at me.

"Good afternoon." She said smiling.

I pick up my phone and look at the time. 4:15.

"How much longer until we're there?" I ask. My butt hurts, my back and neck are sore and I'm getting a bit claustrophobic.

I see Charlotte sleeping in the front seat of the car. She wakes up and quickly falls back asleep.

It's 5:00 and I'm falling back asleep. We're really close now but the road have gotten icy and wet, which means slippery. We haven't passed anyone in the road yet which is good because it's so cold, if we stop the wheels will probably freeze.

"Uh Oh." My mom mumbles.

I look up and see a pick-up truck coming down the slippery road.

As the pick up truck comes at us, my mom turns the wheel to avoid him.

We are about to pass the pick-up truck when he tries hitting the brake and spins. My mom tries to go by but he spins into us.

All I can remember is the world spinning by so fast and the car crashing down on me.
