I've recently reread the Harry Potter books again to prepare for writing this story. It will follow the main plot of the books, but I've also incorporated some original storylines for y/n.
The book contains:
— Slow-Burn Romance: Expect a gradual development of Y/n and Harry's relationship. They won't suddenly start holding hands or acting like a couple in the first few chapters.
— No smut- Fluff Overload: Yes it's a slow burn, but there will be plenty of innocent, wholesome, and romantic moments as their bond deepens and as they grow.
— Character Development: This story focuses heavily on character development, particularly for y/n, being (Tom Riddle) Voldemort's daughter and the complexities of her soon relationship with Harry and the Wizarding World.
— I also have noticed fanfictions i have read, where y/n is often portrayed as bubbly, badass, or savage. While these traits can be entertaining sometimes, but it's common in every fic. They ended up sounding rude, needy or bratty. I believe they can become repetitive and even cringe-worthy sometimes.
— Yes, Y/n will not be depicted as a helpless damsel in distress or a character who seeks attention through unintelligent behavior. She will maintain her dignity and independence throughout the narrative.
— As the daughter of Voldemort (Tom Riddle), y/n will possess some of her father's characteristics— Tom's appearance from his younger years. This gives her a distinct, mysterious and intimidating aura. Also, this includes being nonchalant, blunt, cold, and apathy. However, she is not inherently evil or cruel of course.
However, this does not mean she lacks kindness or respect. Y/n will treat others, particularly elders, with consideration. Character development is an essential part of any story. Y/n and Harry will grow and change over the course of the narrative.
— This story starts in Year 3– 7.
— All Harry Potter characters will appear in this story of course. I hope you enjoy reading this story.
