"I want to know everything about her sister."

"Why the sister? We don't need to go that deep," Minji said.

They were both in the car while Jungkook was driving, lost in thought.

"When I say I want to know, it means I want to know; no arguments," he replied calmly.

Minji rolled her eyes.

He is always like that: demanding, rude, and sometimes heartless too.

They met at a BTS success party where she was invited one year ago. She was a top model in Korea. They talked and found each other attractive—or we can say Minji found him attractive. For Jungkook, it was not a serious relationship. Everyone dates, so he did too, with no logic behind it. His mind works differently; no one can assume what he is thinking. They barely met or went on dates. Sometimes she was busy, and sometimes he was.

Although they had little physical intimacy...

"You'll get your information tomorrow morning," Minji replied.

"Good."

"Where are we going now?"

"I’m dropping you off at your home."

"Let's go to your apartment," Minji said, placing her hand on his thigh and giving it a light squeeze.

He looked at her hand more than at her.

"I have to shoot early in the morning," he said coldly. She nodded in disappointment.

Annie walked out of the college, blabbering to herself.

Suddenly, a black car stopped in front of her.

She recognized it; it was the same car from last night.

Jungkook slid the window down.

"What are you doing here?" she yelled but immediately put her hand over her mouth, looking around.

"What are you doing here?" she asked more softly.

"I’m hungry," he replied, pulling down her mask.

"Then what are you doing here?" she asked, confused.

His eyes sparkled with mischief.

"I heard there’s a very good restaurant near your college, so I thought I’d try it."

He smirked, his condescending tone returning.

"Okay, go then," she said, shrugging her shoulders.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, so now I'm just free to go?"

He laughed softly, moving his face closer to hers.

Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing his soft laugh.

"Not so fast, Annie. I came here for you—to spend some time with you. I want to get to know you better."

Her cheeks heated up.

"Stop flirting with me," she said, looking away.

Jungkook’s smirk widened, his voice low and seductive.

"But I’m not flirting with you, Annie. I don’t need to. I’m being serious. Now get in the car. I’m starving."

She bit her lip, looking around.

Should she go with him or not?

"Do you want me to starve to death?" he asked, raising his brows.

"I hope I’m making a good decision," she murmured before getting in the car.
