Chapter Sixteen

"How much longer?" Taehyung asks as Jungkook leads him towards the high ground.

The two friends were on for a long walk during the chilly morning weather. The sun was rising just above the horizon, the glasses were still shimmering from last night's storm, and the small drops from the dancing leaves created crystal balls onto the grounds. The earthy smell of wet ground, the cold air above the surface everything was so breathtaking and relaxing.

Jungkook had his hold on Taehyung's hands, fingers locked together as he led the way for them. Their path around the small forest wasn't big but just enough for the two to walk. It was refreshing and so peaceful to feel the morning breeze, the warmth of the rising sun, and the joyful sound of the chipping birds. What a way of starting another day.

Taehyung wasn't complaining but after almost half an hour of the walk, he was getting tired, and adding the fact that he was still very sleepy when Jungkook barged into his room and dragged him out of bed. Taehyung never realized how energetic his best friend was, he always thought Jungkook was as lazy as before the bunny-looking man would never want to leave his bed. Never once Taehyung thought Jungkook would be a morning person.

"Tae we just started to walk don't tell me you are tired already?" Jungkook looked back at his best friend and shook his head.

Taehyung hults his steps and glares at Jungkook causing the other man to stop too. "Sorry that I am not a morning person who likes to take a long damn walk. It is not an everyday thing for me, I just want to be back in my bed under the warm blanket but here you are dragging me to god knows where. I am tired we have been walking for hours! And hunger!" Taehyung whines about smacking Jungkook down.

Jungkook sighed with eyes rolling "Oh stop whining! A good morning walk is a great way to start your morning, it gets your body working and keeps your mind fresh! I know you are lazy but don't be this much of pig" he teases known well what kind of reaction he get.

"A pig! You shithead don't call me that! You say it as if you do this every day! I have never seen or heard you get up so early in the morning for anything! You barely make it to class on time" Taehyung huffed making Jungkook chuckle.

"Hey, you don't know that! I have my moments where I do this! I just hate class that's all why never will I get up! But that beside the point, just a couple more minutes walk the view up by the hill is just breathtaking and you will love it Taehyung" Jungkook pleads tugging onto their intwin hands.

"But I am hungry, we should have at least brought some snacks or water with us" Taehyung pouts to which Jungkook refused to give in.

"We will go eat afterward for now just walk. I am telling you Tae if you keep on being lazy one day you surely turn into a sloth or a pig" Jungkook sighed walking ahead and dragging an annoyed Taehyung.

Taehyung watches Jungkook back as they walk, his lazy eyes darken and his pout turns into a smirk. With a deep breath, Taehyung runs and jumps onto Jungkook's back. Jungkook not even phased by the sudden movement puts his arm around Taehyung to secure him on his back.

"If it's only a couple minutes you gonna carry me! I am not walking anymore" Taehyung announced as he tightened his grip around Jungkook's neck.
