Regulus pov:
Regulus, James whole world, Sirius brother, Slytherin skittles bestfriend , and Remus and lily's study partner, the dark mysterious boy who doesn't talk alot to anyone, the dark mysterious one , the black cat. Regulus has been noticing something going on with James and he decided to ask Remus and lily about it in the study session. Remus replies with "James is pretty much the definition of always okay and happy there's nothing wrong with him but I can check if you want-?" Lily would sit there for a few seconds and thinks "so your suggestion the scars are not from quiditch?" Regulus just says "well I'm not 100% sure but he's been acting odd and please check on him for me moons". Remus did that but got nothing out of him and James just asked why he wouldn't be okay?. Regulus grabbed james diary once to hand it to him because James wanted his diary and he noticed some sort of lines on it, regulus was really worried about James after he saw it because if james done t stuff to himself regulus has been there alot of times and know how hard it is but he couldn't say to anyone or no one knew it so he kept to himself.
Until a day he heard James crying in the bathroom for hours his head was against the door listen to him feeling bad as he couldn't say anything to him because he knew that it was probably just as hard as it was for him. James got out, smiling and he backed away from the door for a second "James um- are you alright I heard you crying, you know you can talk to me" he said with slight stutter as they both went into a room and james tells regulus everything ans regulus hugged him tightly kissing his neck. "My poor love" the door opened automatically, regulus realised he didn't put a silencing spell so he felt guilty as hell when everyone looked at James weirdly expect his friends and when they whispered about him all regulus felt was guilty and James and him broke from the hug as regulus heard a huddle puff yell "JAMES YOU SHOULD KILL YOURSELF SO WE DONT HAVE TO DO OUR EXAMS" James says to the hufflepuff "do you want to do the honours off killin me?" Regulus heart dropped and looked at James with slight tears In his eyes which no one could really see threw it with a few breaths he was able to spit out "James don't, please dont, don't do this please" the Hufflepuff goes to James , regulus didn't have much time to think as he couldn't loose James, James ment to much to him before he knew it he was Infront of James so he got the spell on him instead he felt himself fall straight into someone's arm whilst everyone left. regulus felt he was getting taken somewhere and heard a little two whispers between two people he couldn't tell who exactly as he wasn't quiet ment to be able to feel or hear anything but he wouldn't know better anyway then the movement had stopped, he felt a rest on some sort of hospital bed In the wing. Then he heard eventually after alot of some sort of test he gathered- some woman say "sorry for your lost Mr potter and Mr black" then heard someone running out as his hearing stopped for a little bit it came back and then heard a boy that sounded like his brother scream "JAMES PLEASE DONT" the woman goes back into the area here he was and whisper "Mr black? Regulus? Can you hear?"
HAPPY ENDING:
He shivered a bit as he didn't know much on what was going on. , the woman left the room ,regulus heard the foot steps walk out and he realized that it was poppy's he felt some sort of relief.
But he could hear and feel some times but not all see , he assumed he was dead but how can he hear or feel? He decided to try and get up but he failed, he didn't understand what went on, he even tried to open his eyes but failed them he remembers what curse was used, it wasn't the killing curse at all, it's only to harm someone majorly and depending on the person it might kill and if it hit James it kill him because he didn't have the strength or the stable enough to survive as he wasn't used to get curse and there's only a half and half chance of surviving it wasn't a unforgivable curse at all but wasn't a cursed normally taught or well known. A few days past and regulus constantly heard people mention about what happened and how James has been acting different and poppy came back and gave him some sort of potion he couldn't feel any pain but would forget everything, his vision came back but he couldn't say anything, he just stared blankly blinking at the ceiling. "okay- so do you remember what happened?" Poppy asked him but he seemed to forget everything that ever happened but couldn't seem to get the words out anyway so he gave a sign that he didn't know. Matter of fact he couldn't remember a lot of things. "I'm going to get Mr potter and Mr black" poppy says. He tried to figure out who they were and eventually few moments later he saw his brother and boyfriend walk into the room and James hugs him tightly. "MR POTTER WHAT DID I TELL YOU!" poppy screamed at James. Sirius gave a slight giggle "hay Reggie :)" sirius says in a soft tone to make sure he's settle and at ease. "Sorry poppy but you said you needed me to remind reggiee what happened?" James said and kisses regulus, he didn't understand why he liked it or how they both know his name but as soon as james kisses him again he started to remember slight bit he remembered who James and Sirius was and everyone else but never knew what happened all he did was hug james with tears pouring down his eyes "love? My kitten" James says in concern because he never heard regulus cry or even shed a tear but hugs him back and ends up telling him everything that happened and regulus tears fled like little flies a couple weeks past with james keep checking in on him same with Sirius regulus wes eventually aloud to leave the wing and James had stopped it but instead of harming himself he had a wrist band on his wrist that regulus gave him because regulus knew exactly what it was like and eventually as time past james took it off and kept hugging him tightly and letting regulus know that he's here for him as regulus still had his on but he never used it unless he has a erge which has never been around James at all they both eventually finish school and they move into a small cute cottage in the town and seeked some help about the near death experiences and everything and regulus' works as a artist and writer as he finds peace in it and gave him comfort, well james works as a actor and films alot of films and they have a kid name Ethan, who they love to bits
