Barty is just using regulus to get close to Evan , you heard it , hes using regulus.
Regulus, happy to see his boyfriend (Barty) who loves Barty ,the one who cared abt Barty, the second disowned black brother , the one close to his brother and cousin (narcissa).
Barty, the one who hated reg, the one who hated people see him hang around reg (ever since reg moved in with the potters) , the only reason why he hangs around reg is to get close to Evan (who would be good to the crouch name unlike reg) .
Barty hated regulus's guts but he didn't say because he's scared off what the fck Sirius , Evan , pandora , the black cousins would do....
Okay today, last day before Christmas half term in school.

Reg, Sirius,James,Remus and Peter goes to the gryffindor common room and regulus full on breaks down into tears, Sirius hugs reg.
Barty felt so fckin guilty for hating reg, but now he's got the boy of his dreams (Evan 🥰) . Barty, realised how much of a dick he was to Regulus and felt so bad and figured that reg is having a full on break down over him.
