"Feeling lucky today, got the sunshine. Could you tell me what more do I need?"
~~

Word of the bathroom incident spread immediately. Aurora instantly got out of there, not being able to bare being drenched in toilet water.

"Ew, why are you soaked," a 10 year old blonde boy said as the girl stepped into her cabin.

"Don't, Ross." Aurora said with a glare. "I'm taking a shower real quick then I need you to help me after."

"With what?" The boy asked, jumping back onto his bed.

"My outfit, duh. I obviously need a new one," The brunette girl said with a wink before walking inside the bathroom.

When she was finished with her shower, she found Ross sitting there drawing with an outfit next to him. Ross was known as the fashion genius in the cabin. He had incredible taste and loved helping his siblings choose the best things to wear.

Quickly Aurora grabbed the outfit and got ready. She came out with her hair in two french braids and light makeup on. Her outfit consisted of a regular Camp Halfblood t-shirt that she tucked up to crop it and high-waisted flared jeans.

"Now, who exactly are you trying to look good for," a dark haired girl said as she got up from her bed.

"No one Silena," Aurora said annoyed as she turned to her sister. The girl only sent a mischievous smile back as she clicked her tongue.

"Oh, I want to know," A red-headed girl named Ava said as she peaked over her top bunk.

"So do I," Her brother, Alexander, said as he appeared next to Aurora.

"I bet it's that kid from the Ares Cabin," Ross said as he stood up. "He's had an eye for you since forever."

Aurora just rolled her eyes in response causing her family to giggle slightly.

"Or maybe her and Logan finally realized they're in love," Ava said, jumping down to the floor.

"Or maybe I just want to look nice," Aurora said as she grabbed her platform converse and started putting them on.

"There's no way, it's just that. I'll figure it out. I always do. Like when you had a crush on that Athena kid a year ago," Silena said.

"You can try, but it's no one. Besides it's time to go to dinner."

Then, the group of Aphrodite siblings walked up to the dining pavilion to have dinner, all continuing to talk and giggle.
____________

Aurora sat in between another one of her sisters, Lucy, and Silena. The Aphrodite table was currently all on the topic of a new couple between two Ares and Demeter kids.

"I think they're kind of adorable, definitely not an expected pair but cute nonetheless." Lucy giggled slightly.

"No, I definitely agree. They seem so in love," Aurora sighed.

It might seem cliche since she was a daughter of Aphrodite but she just loved love. She constantly itched for the day she would find her special someone. Her perfect match. Her soulmate. She didn't care that it was stereotypical. In fact, she was a pretty stereotypical Aphrodite kid. She loved clothes and makeup. She loved getting ready and painting her nails. She was obsessed with gossiping and trying to play cupid (she was pretty amazing at it). She hated getting dirty and her biggest fear (not really) was looking or smelling bad. And she constantly had people falling at her feet saying that they loved her (not her fault) plus she was lowkey a total player.

And though she fell into all of these categories, she also made sure to break a few stereotypes. She was one of the best combat fighters at the camp, she was wicked with a sword and dagger, and she knew constantly was wanting to prove herself.

She was extremely similar to all of her siblings but still a few things set her apart.

"Do you think that they'll last," Silena asked her siblings.

"No, definitely not. They're so different," Ross expressed to the table.

As they continued their conversation, only stopping briefly to give an offering to the gods, Aurora caught herself looking at Percy. It was almost as if there was so magnetic force pulling her towards him. There was just something about him.

Chiron suddenly pounded his hoof, causing Aurora to jump out of her thoughts.

Mr. D got up with a huge sight, "Yes, I suppose I better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activities director, Chiron, says the next capture the flag is Friday. Cabin Five presently holds the laurel."

A bunch of ugly cheering rose from the Ares table.

"Personally," Mr. D continued, "I couldn't care less, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that we have a new camper today. Peter Johnson."

Chiron murmured something.

"Er. Percy Jackson," Mr. D corrected. "That's right. Hurrah, and all that. Now run along to your silly campfire. Go on."
______________

Soon enough, the Aphrodite cabin went down to the campfire.

"Annie, I've missed you," Aurora said as she ran behind her best friend and hugged her.

"Rora, I've missed you." The blonde girl replied with a smile after hugging her best friend back.

"Will you sit with me? I think Peter from the Ares cabin is walking over here," Aurora pleaded with the best begging eyes she could muster.

"Of course, how could I say no to that face."

Though the Apollo cabin was singing for everyone, Aurora and Annabeth still made their way to a blonde boy sitting on the end.

"Logan! It's been so long!" Aurora squealed as she hugged the boy fiercely.

Logan has also been one of Aurora's best friends for as long as she can remember. He came the year after she did but they connected instantly. He stays with his Mom most of the year and only comes during the summer but the two are able to stay connected still. Aurora has been there a few times and has even been offered to stay, but she loves Camp Halfblood and doesn't particularly want to leave.

The Aphrodite cabin has bets on when they'll get together that neither of them seem to know about.

"Hey, Rory. I was looking for you yesterday when I got here but I seemed to miss you," the blonde boy said.

"Aw no. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were coming earlier than you normally do," The girl smiled brightly at him. He returned it because how could he not? Especially when she smiled at him like that.

"Yeah, my mom and her boyfriend were going on vacation." He explained. "Hi, Annie. How are you."

"I'm good Logan. Thank you for asking," Annabeth said from the other side of Aurora. The blondes didn't particularly get along but they were civil for Aurora's sake.

Throughout the rest of the campfire, the three continued to talk before walking back to cabins and falling asleep for the night.
