About Dreamer:
Dreamer follows Jamie as he is going through a difficult time in his life. This story is him trying to cope with problems in his life and eventually finding happiness which takes some time. It also sees him discover things about himself as he tries to grow as a person.
Jamie is actually based on myself from my childhood and a lot of storylines are inspired/based on things that happened to me so as you can probably tell, Dreamer is a very personal story to me and difficult for me to talk about a little. I hope you enjoy!
The Characters:
Jamie:
Jamie is 15 year old and lives at home with his parents in the UK. He is introverted however once he gets to know someone, he is more open and talkative. At home and at school, Jamie keeps to himself as much as he can and tries to avoid his strict dad. He struggles to socialize and make friends with others at school. Because of this, he has only one friend who is his best friend, Tom. Early on you get an insight to why Jamie may have problems with his self confidence.
Tom:
Tom is 15 just like Jamie and is his best friend. The pair have known each other for many years. Tom is more confident and is considered as a little bit of a class clown. Unlike Jamie, he has other friends that he talks too and spends time with when he isn't with Jamie. When the pair are together, Tom puts all his time and focus on Jamie. He is supportive and always has his best friends back.
