Kachito and Zotawa were walking down a dirt path to Seishin Village. Ready to get to place they can stock up. Zotawa was hanging onto the Dizen however. Kachito would definitely blow it all on food.
On the way however, they encountered a bunch of bodies belonging to bandits. And feasting on the bodies was an Oni. The Oni looked back at them and his eyes lit up.
Oni: Oh new flesh to consume...oh and look at you! So muscular! So succulent!
Kachito and Zotawa unsheathed their katanas.
Zotawa: Hey Kachito, you remember the technique Master Chie taught us so we could kill Oni?
Kachito: Oh yeah! The Clear Cut Technique!
The Clear Cut Technique was the only way to exterminate an Oni. The only way to bypass their regeneration. To perform it the blade must be lined up perfectly and swung so fast it can burn to as it cuts the Oni's head off. Killing it.
Oni: Seeing as I'm gonna kill you I'll just say that my name is...MUCHI!!!
Kachito and Zotawa snicker a bit
Kachito: Your name is ignoramus? AHAHAHAHA!!!
The pair busted out laughing at the Oni's name.
Muchi clenched his fists and used his unique Oni ability, Hone no Katachi. Bone blades bursted from his skin and rushed towards the pair who easily dodged.
Muchi: DIE YOU DISRESPECTFUL DINNERS!!! AND DIE BY THE HANDS OF THE GREAT MUCHI-
Kachito quickly appeared in front of him.
Kachito: Word of advise, I may be a dumbass, but ranting during a fight never goes well.
And in a swift motion Kachito beheaded Muchi.
Muchi: W-Wha-
Zotawa: You left your guard open dumbass.
Zotawa catches Muchi's head.
Zotawa: You gave us an easy shot and even if you didn't, eventually you'd use up all your Dakuenaji and thus slow your regeneration so it still would have made you easy pickings.
Muchi: Y-you stupid motherfu-
Before Muchi finished, his head dissipated alongside the rest of his body in a purple smoke.
Kachito: Well...that was easy.
Zotawa: I wouldn't get cocky. That guy was just an idiot. I mean his name literally meant ignoramus.
Kachito: Hehe...true.
The pair continued on their way to Seishin Village after easily dispatching a very weak Oni.
