Gargroni and Hyabusa had brought a legion of Oni to the Village of the Shroud. Hyabusa looked towards Gargroni.
Hyabusa: I will take Zotawa Rodin. You can take the other two and the dog.
In the blink of an eye Hyabusa ran up to Zotawa and grabbed him before running off with him and arriving at a secluded field.
Zotawa: Any reason you wanna fight me one on one.
Hyabusa: There are many but I will not disclose right now.
Hyabusa unsheathed all four of his katanas and assumed a battle stance.
Hyabusa: Show me the strength of the Ronin clan!
BACK IN THE VILLAGE...
Jeremī left Lei-Lei and Kachito to deal with the lesser Oni around the village. Kachito and Lei-Lei looked up at the goliath that was Gargroni.
Gargroni: Prepare for battle! I expect nothing but the best from the human who killed the Seamstress!
Kachito: Well then I'll show you my strength big guy.
Lei-Lei: And I'll beat you down with him!
Gargroni burst put in laughter before slamming his club into the ground.
Gargroni: Yes! YES! Come at me! I thirst for the battle!
Gargroni tried to swipe at them with his club, but they dodged and he hit a house instead. But when he did, his Dakuenaji surged. His muscles increased in size and strength.
Lei-Lei: What the...
Gargroni swung again faster this time, Lei-Lei used the Return Kunai to telepory out of the way but Kachito angled Mochi to block Gargroni's blow. Kachito was pushed into the ground below by Gargroni's strength.
Kachito managed to slip out from under causing Gargroni to hit the ground, causing his Dakuenaji to increase and his muscles gained more strength.
Kachito: Hey! Each time you miss and hit something else you're getting stronger! That's cheating!
Gargroni: That is simply my technique!
(Technique Description: Gargroni's Oni Technique is called Collateral Buff. Whenever he misses and attack he gets stronger, the cost is that at a certain point his body will betray him.)
Kachito and Lei-Lei had yet to grasp how dire the situation could become should Gargroni continue growing in strength. However, Kachito simply decided he would attack like hell so that didn't happen.
Kachito charged in and slashed at Gargroni's leg with a Clear Cut doing minimal damage. Gargroni brought down his club and missed, boosting his power again. Lei-Lei retreated from the fight to go grab something that could turn the tide.
As Kachito kept dealing blows while Gargroni missed, the disparity in power grew. Eventually Gargroni managed to force Kachito to block with Mochi, however this sent Mochi flying out of his hand.
Gargroni saw Kachito was without a weapon and dropped his club before popping his knuckles.
Gargroni: Would be dishonorable to fight with my weapon when you lost yours. Kachito Mishimura, are you ready to go hand-to-hand.
Kachito: Born ready!
Gargroni went in to punch and missed. He punched again and Kachito used his right arm to punch and hold Gargroni's punch there. Gargroni punched with his other arm but Kachito did the same with his prosthetic arm. Using some Kami no Chikara to ensure the fake arm didn't break.
Gargroni saw Kachito holding against his bare fists with his own. No human can match me in physical strength...Kachito Mishimura, you are no normal human! Gargroni thought to himself. Then Kachito maneuvered and delivered a right hook to Gargroni.
Gargroni grabbed his club and Kachito jumped onto the rooftops to run towards where Mochi ended up. Gargroni followed behind, smashing through buildings in his way. But eventually, Kachito reached Mochi and used a Clear Cut across Gargroni's face, then his arms, before kicking him in the chest with a large amount of Kami no Chikara.
Gargroni was sent back and laughed.
Gargroni: GRASHAHAHAHA!!! I haven't been it this much for centuries! To think, you have only hit me a handful of times and you have me do excited! This battle will be brilliant!
Gargroni then noticed how he would need some human blood to speed up his regeneration.
Gargroni: But first...
Gargroni picked up a villager and quickly put them into his mouth, the blood seeping out as he crunched. His wound healed immediately.
Kachito: Oh you bastard...
MEANWHILE WITH LEI-LEI...
Lei-Lei was looking through some things she had in her bag. Ingredients and serums. All for the poisons she coats her kunai with. She searched and searched before she found it, a Heaven Flower. She took it and mixed it with some poison serums to create, Oni Poison.
Lei-Lei: It's far from finished or perfected...but this'll weaken big, pink, and scary.
Lei-Lei dashed back to the battlefield and she was joined by Jeremī, who had finished the weak Oni.
Lei-Lei: Jeremī, go and find Zotawa! He'll need your help more!
Jeremī: Worf!
Jeremī ran out of the village to find Zotawa as Lei-Lei headed towards Gargroni.
Kachito was struggling at this point. But he held on. Using his mobility to his advantage, even as Gargroni got stronger. Then Lei-Lei showed up and stabbed a kunai into his neck before jumping next to Kachito.
Kachito: What is that?
Lei-Lei: A poison I made in a rush. It's gonna wither him down over time. But it doesn't mean he is down for the count.
Kachito nodded and readied himself. Gargroni felt the poison flowing. He raised his club to continue the fight. His technique had reached its maximum and his body was officially overexerting itself.
The favor of the battle was changed in the flip of a coin. Drawing this battle ever closer to finishing.
