When she was a human, 300 years ago, her name was Waru Josei. She had a husband and three kids. She absolutely despised her marriage. Her husband was happy but they weren't a wealthy family. Waru always thought power and riches were more than anything else.
She was manipulative, selfish. She never even cared about her own children. So, when she transformed into an Oni due to her dark desires, it shouldn't have shocked anyone. She killed her husband and children. Feasted on their flesh and blood.
But her husband's blood was special. It tasted pure. Untainted. It was perfect. But she couldn't regain the taste after. So she started to try and find humans over the 300 years she existed as an Oni. The desire to find the pure blood again was the goal she would only be able to meet at her death.
And that she did when she battled Kachito Mishimura. He was someone with pure blood. However, once an Oni achieves their goal, it means their end is near. And for her, it was. As Kachito Mishimura ultimately killed her. While her husband and children rest in the Realm of Spirits to rest peacefully, her soul went to the Realm of the Damned.
To pay for her sins and selfishness.
