a month has passed since y/n's instagram post that revealed the thing between her and kuroo. surprisingly, the reaction of everyone at school was overwhelmingly positive. there was not a single hint of jealousy going around.

her days have added more warmth. they often meet at the park after school and enjoyed spending time together. and since both of them are members of their certain organizations, their schedules often didn't align, but whenever they found time, they made sure to make the most out of it.

however, it had been a week since they last saw each other as the school festival drew nearer, and everyone had been busy preparing for it. the much-awaited school festival was just around the corner. each school organization are mandated to stand up their own booth.

meeting in the nekkopen office, y/n and the rest of the members discussed the final details for their booth. they decided on on-the-spot poetry making and a photobooth to combine creativity and fun.

"the typewriter's ready. writers, i expect you to do a job well done. also the photojournalists, the cameras, okay?" this time, the meeting was led by their managing editor, nakamura riko, as uchida mai could not come because she is in a meeting with the other organization leaders and chairpersons.

y/n could not wait for the school festival and write poems. her goal is to make their booth to offer something special.

-

the event will open at 8 AM sharp, and members of the school organization were already at school an hour early. y/n hoped he could catch a glimpse of kuroo, but he was nowhere to be seen. his last text was 'see you later' in which she replied, then that's it.

as the festival commenced, nekkopen became so busy. for the past two hours, they have already made at least 14 written poems, and there were a lot more who used the photobooth that the photojournalists had to buy more photopaper to printout photos. their stickers and pins were almost sold out as well, making them happy.

y/n took a break from making on-the-spot poetry and was replaced by another nekkopen writer, takahashi emi, the junior literary writer. she decided to explore other booths, and her attention was capture by a booth selling different kinds of pastries.

she was about to get some when she felt a sudden tug on her hand--a red string was tied up on her wrist and a blindfold to cover her eyes.

startled, y/n was whisked away through the crowd before she could even protest. she stumbled slightly as someone slipped a veil over her head, and her hands were now holding a crocheted bouquet.

her blindfold was taken off. as she was led to the center of the booth, y/n's confusion only grew. her gaze fell upon kuroo standing at the makeshift altar, his expression a mix of amusement and confusion, mirroring her own.

why are we on a fucking wedding booth?!
