Divorced

And finally it's the day.

Taehyung don't know what to feel. His feelings were out of place and unorganized. But he was sure this is the best decision he can take. By no means, he can hope for a better future from this marriage. This is the best for both of them.

It was nearly 7 in the evening. He didn't go to the company today. There is no need for him there after all. The deal was sealed. His lawyer will be here anytime now. He also sent a message to the younger to come early but the message was not read.

He was in his deep thoughts when he heard the doorbell. He walked to open the door only to notice the lawyer was here. He gave a quick smile before welcoming the elder inside. He made his way to the kitchen to being something for the elder man .

And it was over an hour, jungkook didn't come. Taehyung was getting frustrated and was pitying the lawyer who was waiting for almost an hour. He sighed before getting the documents from the lawyer, telling him that he will get the sign and send it to his office by himself tomorrow. The elder gave a nod and pushed the file towards him making his way outside.

Taehyung was sitting in the same position for the next two hours until he heard the front door open. He didn't move a nerve at the sight of jungkook entering the house with no care for the world.

"Why are you late jungkook? " He voiced sitting in the same position which seemed to startle the younger as he was not aware of the elder sitting in the loving room. But he composed himself quickly.

"That's not your problem Kim. " He rolled his eyes while tossing the keys somewhere on the couch.

"That's my fucking problem jungkook. I messaged you to be here at 7 didn't I? " His voice was octave lower which caused the younger to gulp nervously.

"And why the hell would I follow your order? If I recall, I was not your servant. " He was going to take the stairs but was stopped by the elder once again.

"My lawyer was waiting for more than an hour for your irresponsible ass. And you are here not having any care for the world" He stood up facing the younger.

"Lawyer? Why? " Jungkook was truly confused now.

"Oh shit. Don't tell me you forgot the best day of your life jungkook! " Taehyung asked amused. But his words were not compatible with the emotions flowing down his eyes. He was holding himself up.

"Don't play word gam- oh" And that's how jungkook remembered what's today. They should have signed the divorce papers today. He raised his eyes to look at the elder who gave a mocking smile ,

"Oh now you remember? " He made his way to the coffee table before picking up the file and taking the papers out. He gave them to jungkook who was standing just like a statue. "Cmon jungkook. Let's sign this and end everything all for once" His voice was painful. He seemed to be pushing himself to not utter something he didn't ment. He should have know this is how it will end. Anyday.

Jungkook came out of his trance when he felt the younger placed the papers and a pen in front of him. He raised his eyes to get a look of the male in front of him. He could tell the other cried. His eyes read and somewhat swollen not focusing on him but on the paper in his own hands.

"Finally" He muttered. That made the elder to look at him with betrayed eyes.

'So? It's all you have ever wanted? '
Taehyung's heart was bleeding. But there is nothing he can do about this. This has to end.

Jungkook with a smile pulled the papers out of taehyung's hand. He took his own pen from his suit he is wearing.

He placed them on the table before bending to sign them. He didn't want to read anything. He was already tired. He just want to end all this and have a nice sleep.

He was going to sign the paper until he stopped and stood up glancing the elder in front of him.

"Why don't you sign first Kim? " He asked in a amused voice lending his own pen to the elder. Taehyung glanced the paper and the younger who was looking at him with a amused smile.

He bit his bottom lip before placing his own pen on the table and extended his hands to get the pen from the younger.

Their eyes met for a split moment and when taehyung picked the pen from  their fingers touched that caused jungkook to retreat his hand like he had touched the fire.

Taehyung crouched down to sign them. He wanted the younger to stop him for once. But, he know it can never happen.

With trembling hands, he put the pen on the paper. He bit his lips and with a huge sigh, he signed them with few drops of tears falling onto it. He slided them to jungkook who took them and saw the sign with a expression which was quite not understandable.

And within next few seconds jungkook's sign was on the papers. He then pushed the papers to taehyung , as he was the one going to process then with his lawyer.

"Fucking finally. You thought of others for atleast once in your life taehyung? " He raised his eyes but got no reply.

Taehyung genlty grabbed the papers from his hands making his way to upstairs.

Jungkook as soon as he entered his own room threw the nearest object to the ground smashing them to pieces which was a vase. Tugged his hair while his eyes darting here and there. It was so hard for him to stand there without showing any emotions . He don't know why he felt the pain in his heart. He strided into the shower, sitting under the cold water flowing down his own body. Drenching his suit as a whole. He don't know for how long he was there. He quitely dressed up and was now sitting on his bed. He was in no mood to have anything. He didn't feel any hunger.

'So its over huh? '

He was brought out of his own thoughts when he heard some noise outside his room. And when he opened the door, he was met with taehyung who is struggling with his luggage.

"Wha- what are you doing? " He asked eyeing taehyung.

Taehyung didn't spare any glance to the younger. He pulled his luggage but stopped for a second and turned to the younger.

"You have never trusted me jungkook. Not you not your hyungs. " He gave a empty chuckle "but you know what? Its okay. It hurts less now, I don't know why. May be i became numb for pain? I don't know. But hope you will be happy hereafter. You will never needed to see my face again. " He extended his hands before placing the spare key of the house they were standing.

"What-"

"I know. I know its from both of our money. But I will never be able to see this house again happily. It was also a clause from the divorce papers. I think you didn't read them carefully huh?

Take care. But I hope you will never come back in my life again jungkook"

And there, jungkook can see the amount of hurt coming out from the words.

"It's late" He muttered. It was already midnight.

" Yup. Very late"

And Taehyung was out of the house. And the younger's life.
