"Noah?"

I have searched the entire house, home studio and have called his phone a handful of times for it to go to voicemail, Noah is nowhere to be found.

My phone rings and I pick it up without hesitation. "Noah?!"

"Woah, Avey, it's me! Is everything okay?" A startled Spencer replies.

"Have you heard from Noah? I have no idea where he is, and I can't get ahold of him. Has he picked Sloane up from you yet?"

"No, that's why I'm calling. I thought his phone died and was just running late. I just tried to call him and no answer."

"Fuck. Okay? Um, I'll call Folio and see if Noah is with him. I'll call you back." I'm trying hard not to panic, I am sure this is just a miss understanding.

"Don't worry about Sloane, we can watch her until you finds him. Everything is going to be okay, just let me know." Spencer tries to calm me down. Noah wouldn't just not pick up his daughter. My gut does not have a good feeling about this.

"Avery, what's up!" Folio answers, cheerfully.

"Hey Nick. Are you with Noah?" I question.

"No, why? Last I heard he had dropped Sloane off at Spencer's and headed for the studio. He told me he was going to take a run in the park near the studio."

I sighed, getting really worried now. "His phone is off and he never picked Sloane up from Spencer's. Nick, I'm starting to freak out."

"Stay put, I'm on my way over and we will find him together, okay?"

"Okay, thanks. See you soon." I hung up the phone and start to run my fingers through my hair. I pace back and forth until Folio walks through the door.

"Nick!" I immediately hug him and feel some sort of relief that he is here to help.

"We are going to find him." He reassured me. This was probably just a huge misunderstanding. We drove around and searched everywhere; Noah was nowhere to be found. That is until we got to the beach.

Nick and I got out of his truck and walked the beach. Noah and I love this beach, if there's anywhere he is hiding still, it has to be here.

"Wait up!" I turn around to see Spencer, Nadia and my baby girl trailing behind us.

"Mama!" Sloane yells.

"Hi baby, are you here to help find Dada?" I ask her in the sweetest voice I can muster up.

"Yeah!" She yells and giggles. I hug Spencer and Nadia, and we all make our way down the beach. Little did I know what would be waiting for me.

A trail of sea shells started, and we followed. Sea shells quickly changed to rose petals. Rose petals led me to a blanket on the beach with a charcuterie board, wine and Noah looking exquisite. I look back at every one to see them all smiling. Noah was never missing, bastards.

"Hi, love." Noah met me for a kiss and led me onto the blanket. "You had me worried sick! I thought you died or something!" I scoffed but then smiled.

"I'm sorry, baby. I had to have you distracted." He got down on one knee. No fucking way.

"Baby, I knew the moment I met you in that airport years ago that I was never going to be able to let you go. Truthfully, I never did, even when we went our separate ways. I never thought I could ever love a human being more but somehow every day my love for you continues to grow for you, and for our daughter. I only want you, and I will continue to always just want you. We've overcome so much and nothing to me matters as much as my family does. Before he passed, your dad gave me this ring, and you know exactly what ring this is. He told me that I am never to put another ring on another women's finger, and I never wanted to. He knew we would be together again one day. Please marry me. This time forever. This time we'll do it right, I promise you that, baby."

I am speechless as tears run down my cheeks, and I swear I can feel my dad's presence here with us.

"Yes. 100% the easiest answer I have ever had to give." I can't stop smiling as Noah slides my ring on. He stands back up and hugs and kisses me. "I love you so much."

"You scared me, you brat!" My smile never left my face but I still scolded him, and everyone else for scaring me about Noah's whereabouts.

Noah and I are getting married once again.
