Finally Loved?

Chapter 3

This is me continuing the last chapter. Sorry about the abrupt end last night but I'd been overcome by my sleepiness.

Nobody's POV

Pansy, Luna, and Y/n finally made it to Hogwarts. Once they entered the Great Hall, the three of them all sat down at the Ravenclaw table (Y/n is in Ravenclaw).

"Moon, how many do you predict are going to become Ravenclaw this year?" Y/n asks Luna.

"What do you mean, predict?" Pansy asks.

"You'll see." Y/n said with a grin.

Pansy and Y/n turned to find Luna's eyes completely white, and her hair had turned black. Five minutes later her eyes and hair returned to normal, and she immediately started smiling.

"So?" Y/n asked.

"This year we get the most students."

"YAAAAAAAAASSS!" Y/n screamed shooting up from her seat, then she realized where she was and sat back down. For a moment people were looking at Y/n, but eventually everyone looked away and continued their conversations. "How many people?"

"Ten join Slytherin, twelve join Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, and twenty-one join Ravenclaw."

"That's the most we've gotten in a while. Go Ravenclaw!" Y/n said.

"I'm still confused about what's going on." Pansy stated and Luna and Y/n realized that they weren't alone.

"Oh. Moon's a seer. A very powerful seer at that. She can read minds and see into the future. While most seers can only see possible futures, Moon can see what causes certain futures as well as read minds. It's very rare for a seer to read minds so when Moon told me she was a seer in just the first year you can definitely say I was shocked. Ever since then, at the beginning of the year, Luna predicts how many people join each year. Usually, Gryffindor or Slytherin gets the most. This is actually the first time Ravenclaw has gotten the most students in six years." Y/n said, and Luna's face flushed.

"So that's how you knew who was going to win the Triwizard Cup two years ago."

"How did you know what I thought?" Luna asked.

"The twins, Seamus and Dean was telling everyone who people were placing their bets on and all that stuff. It was a time that I was still in denial about how I felt about you but still was interested in what you thought so I paid them to tell me what you thought, and they told me exactly what actually happened at the tournament. You can't guess how shocked I was when Harry came back with Cedric. I for sure thought that you were in over your head with your guess." Pansy said.

"I guess I was super specific with my guess, but I literally got 500 galleons from it." Both Y/n's and Pansy's jaws dropped.

"What - How - When?" Y/n stuttered.

"I at first just bet ten galleons, but then the bets built up and eventually if I won, I would have gotten 500 galleons. You know, I still have that money. I'm guessing I have about 450 galleons left. I haven't really spent it. Only on a little snack every now and then if I wanted."

"Do you have any idea how much money you could make with your seer powers?" Pansy asks.

"Actually yes. In one case I've looked at, I earned around 10,000 galleons after a year. But I don't want to cheat people off their money, I mean, I have a guaranteed chance at that money, and I don't want them to lose their money just because I can tell the future."

"Spoken like a true Lovegood." Y/n said, and they all laughed.

"Y/n. He's here." Y/n turned to where Luna was pointing, and her laugh died.
