Finally Loved?

Chapter 5

Draco's POV

As the big oaf is introducing this stupid ass creature to us, I see Y/l/n walking slowly towards this, Mere. Hagrid stops talking and looks at Y/l/n wearily.

"Miss Y/l/n? What are you doing?" Hagrid asks but Y/l/n ignores him as she extends her hand out to Mere, taking steps every few seconds. Is this girl stupid or something? That horrendous creature is going to kill her or something. I mean, I guess that would be a good thing. I wouldn't have to deal with Y/l/n any longer. And just like that, I was on the creature's side. As I refocused on Y/l/n, I saw that she had finally touched the creature and as soon as her fingers at touched Mere's face, a force exploded from the contact making many students fall over, including me. But Y/l/n remained untouched. Once I'd gotten back up, I saw that the air around Y/l/n's hand and the creature's head was vibrating with colors and abstract shapes.

"What the fuck is going on?" I ask Blaise and Pans who are standing next to me.

"I have no idea." Blaise responded and Pans, she just stayed silent. Looking at the scene in awe.

Suddenly all the color and shapes surrounding Y/l/n and Mere vanish and is replaced with a dark red. If you look closely at Y/l/n you could see her face shimmering with what I think is tears.

"Is she crying?" I whisper to Pans, and she nods. Why the fuck is this idiot crying? Y/l/n starts whimpering slightly and Hagrid pulls her away from Mere swiftly. But as soon as he lets her go, she collapses to the floor and starts sobbing hysterically.

"We're teasing her about this later, right?" Blaise whispered in my ear.

"Obviously." I whisper back.

Silverback (Avery) runs to Y/l/n, and I roll my eyes. I can't believe people actually like her.

"Y/N!! Are you okay?!" Avery practically yells as she sits down next to Y/l/n. She doesn't respond and Silverback pulls her into a hug. I see Hagrid walking up to Y/l/n and Silverback with a small flask and put it up to Y/l/n's lips and suddenly she melts into Silverback. Hagrid picks Y/l/n up.

"Class is dismissed. Go back to the castle." Hagrid carries Y/l/n back to the school and I see him going towards the infirmary.

"Serves her right. It was stupid idea to get close to that creature. I bet I could do much better than just collapse into a sobbing mess. That had to be the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen." Pans and Blaise nod their heads in agreement as we head to the Slytherin common room.

"I feel bad for the Y/l/ns. They have to deal with her for the rest of their lives." Pans said falling onto one of the couches.

"At least while Y/l/n is at Hogwarts they get almost a year's break from her. For the rest of school we have to see Y/l/n for an entire year. I think I'd go almost berserk if I had to see her every day for the rest of my life." Pans and Blaise laugh.

"You're already crazy enough. I don't think I'd be able to deal with a crazier version of you than we already have to." Blaise chuckled as I threw a pillow at Pansy. "HEY!" She threw the pillow back and it hit me in the face.

"Look at what you did?!" I screeched at her, motioning towards my hair.

"Oh, I'm sorry your royal highness. I didn't mean to mess up such luscious locks as yours. Please forgive me." She said getting up and bowing.

"Shut up." I grimaced and she fell against the couch again but this time in a laughing fit.

"If anyone's going berserk it's me for hanging out with you two." Blaise said and when Pansy and I glared at him he threw his hands up in defense. "What? If I wasn't here, you two would literally kill each other. I'm going mad enough as it is trying to prevent that from happening." Blaise says heading towards a bookshelf nearby.
