Finally Loved?

Chapter 6

Draco's POV

"Now, who would like to tell me what would happen if you mixed an Ashwinder egg and fluxweed?" Professor Snape's eyes scanned the classroom. I saw Hermione's hand shoot up immediately, but he ignores her and continues scanning the room. I see his eyes finally land on Y/n and realize that she has fallen asleep. I swear that the sorting hat made a mistake placing her in Ravenclaw. She can be so stupid sometimes.

"What do you think Snape's gonna do?" Blaise whispers.

"Detention for a week or something. He might even take a few points off knowing Snape." I whispered back and Blaise nodded in agreement.

Snape walked over to Y/n and slammed his fist on her desk.

Luna's POV

Snape slams his fist on Y/n's desk, and I see a fraction of terror flash in her eyes. I don't know what's going on with Y/n, but this year so far, she's been acting really strange. First, I sometimes hear crying coming from Av's and her room, and other times when I hug her, she slightly flinches. Something's wrong with Y/n and I need to figure out what.

"Miss Y/l/n?"

"Y-yes Professor Snape?" Y/n asks, looking up at Snape.

"Do you have the answer to my question?" I see Malfoy and his friends (Crabbe, Goyle, and Blaise) chuckling and whispering to each other in the back of the class. I can't believe Pansy used to friends with those knuckleheads. Sure, I act all calm and non-judgmental, but those Slytherin boys can definitely act better than they already do.

"No, I don't Professor." Y/n responds, looking down at her desk.

"Then I suggest you try and stay awake in my classes Miss Y/l/n. Detention with me during lunch for a week." I hear her slightly groan before she nods, and Professor Snape continues class.

'You okay?' I mouth to Y/n who was frowning towards the front of the room.

'I'm fine.' She mouths back with a smile, but this smile didn't reach her eyes like they usually did so there is definitely something wrong going on. I take measures into my own hands.

I close my eyes and focus energy on Y/n's mind.

"I know you aren't fine, but I won't rush you. Just know that you can talk to me about anything at any time, okay?" I say inside her head and thankfully she's used to me in her head and doesn't show any sign of shock. She looks at me again and nods with a reassuring smile.

'Thanks' She mouths, and I smile back.

Draco's POV

After Snape went back to teaching the class, I see Lovegood and Y/l/n mouthing stuff to each other, but I can't make it out. Then they just look at each other for a few seconds before Y/l/n mouths what I think is 'thanks' to Lovegood and she smiles. Something is going on between those two. And I doubt it's anything good.

I turn my attention back to Snape and as he starts writing something on the board for the class to take notes, I see a liquid dripping from Y/l/n's chair. I look up at her and she goes pale as she sees, whatever is going on. She raises her hand, and I can tell that Snape sees it, but he ignores her and continues writing on the board.

Y/n's POV

I feel something wet fall down my leg and as I look down, I see blood dripping from my chair, and I immediately panic. This can't be starting now! Right in the middle of a class taught by the strictest teacher in school! I raise my hand to go to the girl's restroom, but Professor Snape doesn't call me. I start waving my hand slightly trying to get his attention, but his focus remains on the board. I finally remember two of the people that I share this class with. I turn to one of the back corners of the classroom and see Theo and Enzo whispering to each other. Then I turn to Luna, see that she has noticed what's going on, and nods my head towards Theo and Enzo.
