It started out as a mild ache in small places. Her feet, hands, and her left knee. Anora only noticed it when she came home and her mother had asked how her day was. Then she relized that she had been in pain all day.
Next, the pain got worse and worse, progressing into stabbing pains now and then. Nora figured that it was just stress. Finals were coming up, and her parents were really putting on the pressure to get that B in English up to an A.
That and the fact that both of her parents were working full time jobs, leaving her to care for her two little brothers when she got home, who wouldn't be a little stressed?
At last finals were over, but the pain still hadn't gone away. It had actually gotten worse. The stabbing pains had just gotten worse, and she was having weird dreams and headaches. Her mother was considering a visit to the doctor.
A week after finals, the sores appeared. Little red spots that ached constently and stung if you touched them.
Her doctor just said it was stress and a mild allergic reaction. He gave her some medication that didn't work and sent her home to bed for a few days of relaxation.
"She'll be up and running in no time!" the doctor had said. "Just a few days of rest and Nora will be herself again"

Adressing the small man behind him, the dark king, Von Hea said in a cool voice, "Master Amrove, send the party to fetch the bearer"
