JUSTIN REYES
"i missed you."

HARLEM NEW YORK
HARLEM HIGH
10:05AM

JUSTIN walked into the school building already annoyed—it was way too early, and many people were crowing the hallways, and it was loud already.

he just headed straight to his locker with his face full of attitude—nobody was getting in his way all, angry jay wasn't something to mess with. and everybody knew that.

"the fuck up his ass? we just got here." dd said to notti as he shrugged before laughing—"wassup ya." ddot said coming over to the two before dabbing them both up.

"nun, jay got a attitude already." notti said shrugging as ddot laughed—"malaysia really got a toll over him." ddot said shaking his head as both boys nodded.

"hopefully they get back cool and let this whole situation go." dd said pausing as notti and ddot nodded agreeing it. "but anyways cmon i'm hungry." dd said finishing his sentence as ddot and notti looked at eachother confused before laughing and following dd to the vending machine.

jay put all his things up into his locker before grabbing what he needed—and he was about to head straight to class, but a familiar figure started walking towards him. and he immediately recognized who it was.

jay squinted his eyes slightly before seeing malaysia getting closer and closer—and eventually she stopped besides him while opening her locker. and completely ignoring his existence.

jay turned his head to the girl as malaysia quickly moved in a fast paste—she was trying her hardest to hurry up, and jay of course noticed.

"malaysia." jay called out as malaysia slowed down at the sound of his voice—a sound she hadn't heard in 2 weeks. she sat there for a second before she hurriedly grabbed her stuff and walked off.

but jay wasn't stopping there—he walked right behind malaysia as they entered the classroom. and thankfully, zaire wasn't sitting in malaysia's seat.

jay sat down next to malaysia as she looked at him slightly before turning back forward—"you can't ignore me forever, i promise." jay said not breaking his stare as malaysia rolled her eyes.

she then titled onto the desk before she started scribbling on her paper—she was liking the attention she couldn't lie. it was satisfying seeing that jay finally realized he was wrong. and he knew he couldn't replace her.

but on the other hand—a pair of eyes were burning into the back of malaysia's head—zaire was siting all the way in the back to avoid the girl but she saw jay sitting right besides her. and he was all over her.

and she heard a slight laugh coming from malaysia which caused her to grip the desk in pure anger—she did all of that for absolutely no reason just for jay to fold this easily.

yes it was for a reason she did everything she did, but she actually found herself falling for the boy—so this sight wasn't fun to see.

"move jay." malaysia said pushing the boy away from her as jay just shook his head before pulling malaysia closer to him—"ima make you forgive me, i'm sorry ight?" jay said in a pleading tone as malaysia just ignored him.

she could see that he was genuinely sincere, but she wanted him to work way harder to win her back—he had her crying over what they had. so she definitely was gonna make him work for this.

"come with me." jay said to malaysia as she just sat there—he grabbed her gently before lifting her out of the seat. he then interlinked their hands before the two left the classroom.

and zaire sat watching it all not being able to do a single thing.

jay took malaysia to an empty classroom before they walked over to a few empty seats—jay then stood infront of malaysia before wrapping his arms around her.

"come here ma." jay said pulling malaysia closer to him as she stood there stiffly—just because jay had realized what dumb mistake he did, didn't mean that she forgave him that easily. how could he be that easily influenced by a girl he didn't even know?

"i'm still mad at you, move." malaysia said pushing jay off her as he sat down on the chair before looking up at the girl—"i know and im sorry ight? i was tripping." jay said shaking his head as malaysia snickered at him.

"how do i know you won't do it again? i don't know if can trust you anymore honestly." malaysia said quietly as jay looked at her with sincereness all over his face.

"if you give me the opportunity, ima show you why you can trust me." jay said in a soft voice as malaysia felt her knees slowly giving out—she wasn't supposed to be getting affected by this, but jay did things to her nobody else ever did.

"jay.." malaysia whispered quietly as jay stood up and came infront of her before moving closer to her neck—he then planted a few kisses there before he backed up slightly. "i promise ima make it up to you, i swear." jay said before he sat malaysia up onto the desk. and she watched his every move.

"you gotta trust me, i promise i won't eva' let you down again." jay said with honesty in his voice as malaysia just looked at him—she could see it in his face that he was dead serious. but she still was cautious.

"i really don't know, you disappointed me lately." malaysia said crossing her arms as jay sighed before sitting down in the chair infront of the girl.

"i know mama, that's why i want you to be my girlfriend, let's finally put a title on it." jay said as malaysia sat there silently taking in what jay had just said.

"i'm not playing laysia for real, i realized i cant lose you." jay said before he pulled her closer once again and wrapped his arms around her tightly not leaving any space between the two.

"say yes." jay said moving back a little as malaysia just continued to stare at him with her mouth parted slightly—she wasn't expecting that.

"hmm." malaysia said playfully as jay looked at her with nervousness. "i dunno..." malaysia said trying to hide her smirk as jay threw his head back—"pleaseee." jay said before frowning as malaysia bit back her laugh. but she couldn't hold it anymore and quickly bursted out laughing.

"that was cute, make that face again." malaysia said as jay shook his head quickly before removing her arms off him—"you play too much." jay said mugging the girl as malaysia continued to laugh.

"yes i'll be your girlfriend justin reyes." malaysia said smiling before cupping jay's face—she then planted a few kissed before staring at the boy.

"you wanna go back now?" jay asked malaysia as she nodded quickly—he then interlinked their hands before they exited the classroom.
