The day had finally arrived!!
Maachah and David are getting married.
In the harem, Maachah gets so excited for her special day.
She wears her wedding dress; veil, hair done etc.
She was very excited to get married especially her father since it is for an alliace with Israel.
All of Israel gathered holding flowers in the royal garden, for that was the venue.
And they were very excited to see the bride and groom.
David walked down the aisle with his brothers and waited for his bride, Maachah.
And the wives of David were among the audience looking very upset
As you saw the video, Bathsheba ended up crying because of jealousy.
The wives of David left the gardenand never wanted to see David.
Uriah asked Bathsheba:
Uriah: Why are you crying? Is it because you are jealous of David and Maachah?
Bathsheba: No, you know I love you!
Uriah: Are you sure about that Bathsheba? All the time you see David you seem to stare at him a lot. And when he is with his wives you seem very upset.
Bathsheba: My love I love you so much
Uriah: At this point, I don't even know
He walks away and leaves Bathsheba where she was weeping.
After David and Maachah had been married,now it was time to perform the wedding dance celebration.
Maachah went to go dress up for a surprise performance for David and his people.
Meanwhile, the people of Israel danced their traditional dance very joyfuly.
They sang, danced, laughed and drank.
Bathsheba went back to the party with her brave face, drank a whole glass of wine and decided to dance as hard as she can to impress David.
She continued dancing and staring at David hoping he would notice her.
Uriah's friends saw how impressive Bathsheba is dancing.
Then the music stopped and they saw red dressed beautiful woman dancing.
The woman of Israel felt very uncomfortable with the dancers because they think they will remove the attntion from their husband.
Some men ended up liking the group of Geshurlite woman.
David felt uncomfortable seeing Maachah doing that kind of dance. He felt as if it is very wrong to dance that.
