The cures, along with Satoru and Daifuku ran across the Sandy beach. It was summer vacation, and they were spending it at Mayu's aunt's beach house back in Mayu's Hometown, Koizumi Gakuen. Komugi ran across the beach with a big grin on her face. She and Iroha were excited to be here, even if it was just for two weeks.
"Come on, let's play volleyball, wan!" Said Komugi, trying to convince Yuki to play with them.
Yuki just read her book quietly as she watched Iroha and Komugi playing with the volleyball.
Mayu sat next to her.
"Yuki, you're next to six friends."
"Lighten up a little." Said Mayu.
Mayu grabbed Yuki's hand.
"Do you want me to tickle you?" Said Mayu.
"Noho!" Said Yuki.
Mayu hugged the lonely girl tightly.
Mayu got up and ran, holding Yuki's hand.
"By the way, what book are you reading?" Asked Satoru, running after Yuki and Mayu.
Yuki turned the book over to Satoru. Satoru smiled at her.
"I like your book, Yuki." He said.
"Right up my alley". He continued.
Iroha looked at Satoru. Satoru blushed and Komugi tugged his arms.
"Does Satoru-Chan like Iroha, Wan?" She questioned him.
"That's adorable!" Komugi said.
"No I don't, I'm just..." Satoru trailed off.
Komugi frowned at him.
"Yeah sure, you totally do." She said.
Yuki sat next to Mayu, still cold to Mayu's friends. She didn't hate them no more, but she didn't like them fully yet.
Iroha took turns swimming with Mayu, Playing and laughing together.
Yuki felt a pang of jealousy as she saw the girls playing with each other.
"Guys, Lunch!" Said Uminoya Suna, Mayu's aunt.
"Aunt Suna is a good chef." Said Mayu to Yuki and Iroha.
Sure enough, Suna was a incredible chef. She made Furūtsusando, (Fruit Sandwiches), Onigiri (Japanese Rice Balls), and Unagi (river eel, usually grilled over charcoal and lacquered with a sweet barbecue sauce.)
Komugi patted her belly.
"What a tasty lunch!" She said.
"Do you want some dessert?" Asked Suna.
"Wan!" Said Komugi.
"Wan?" Said Suna.
"Um, I mean, yes." Said Komugi.
Iroha looked embarrassed as Komugi tried to hide the fact that she is a dog.
"Wow, what a glutton." Said Iroha.
"This is really good food." Said Mayu.
"You're so good at cooking, Auntie!". Said Mayu.
"Thanks sweetie." Said Suna.
"Now, who wants Nama Chocolate?"
"Me!" Said Komugi.
"Who's this little girl?" Said Suna, looking at Yuki.
"Her?" "She's my sister, Yuki." Said Mayu.
"Aw, she's so cute!" Said Suna.
"I'm just so happy to have another niece!" She said, pinching Yuki's cheeks.
Mayu laughed softly as Yuki blushed a little.
Yuki looked at Komugi's laughter. She felt jealous of Komugi and Iroha. She didn't know how to make friends. Why can't I just be normal? She thought.
