"What do you mean 'and'??? Hanni, it's my senior finals!"
"One night won't kill you."
"I'm not going."
"We're literally going to Dani's place!"
"Well yeah where else would we fucking go for a sleepover???"
"Haerin come on you-"

The two best friends stopped arguing, Haerin glancing at her phone.
"You really have Danielle eating ice cream as your lock screen."
"You're in no place to talk, you have Minji in that fucking bear onesie giving you a heart as yours."
"..."
"..."
"Who texted you?"
"Good question."
Haerin looked at her phone, her best friend staring intently at it as well.
"For someone who always puts her phone on silent when studying, it's probably your parents."
"It's Dani."
"Oh, go figure. Of course you don't have 'do not disturb' activated for her."
Haerin rolled her eyes, pushing Hanni away as she unlocked her phone.

"Minji offered to help me study."
"Sure, let's go."
"Wait like- five minutes."
Hanni plopped herself back down on Haerin's bed, going on her phone as she sighed.
"I'll text in the groupchat that we're both coming in twenty minutes."
Haerin quickly got ready, grabbing some of her school things and shoving them into her backpack before grabbing her phone and keys.
Hanni stared at her weirdly, "you're really bringing your- you know what, nevermind."
She stood up, pulling Haerin away from her desk, "let's go."
Haerin had her eyes on her phone as she texted her parents where she would be, Hanni grabbing the cat's keys out of her jacket pocket to lock the front door for her.
