Izuku Midoriya had thought that the world had beaten him down enough. He was diagnosed as quirkless, his parents ignored him, his sister and friends hated him, he got suicide-baited in school and yelled at by pro heroes for interfering during the Sludge Villain Incident(his only solace for that day being that All Might believed in his dream), he failed the Hero Course Entrance Exam miserably, and nobody liked him at UA.
But no! Katsuki just HAD to be a dick and insult him while also making a complete fool out of him on live TV. So he finally decided to take the advice of his tormentors.
And considering how much his life changed after that candy cane-haired girl saved him, Izuku would say that it was the best decision he ever made.
