Izuku Midoriya was neglected by most of his friends and family due to being quirkless. One day, he fell through a portal and ended up in the middle of an ocean. Izuku was about to drown when he was saved by a Vice Admiral named Monkey D. Garp and taken to Dawn Island. Garp and his family learned about Izuku's past and took him into their family. Years go by as Izuku grows up with his adoptive siblings, Luffy, Ace, Atlas, and Sabo. He and Luffy started the Straw Hat Pirates and were joined by their friend Uta. Following Marineford where they were able to save Ace, at the cost of Garp sacrificing his life to let Ace escape death, The Straw Hats split up in order to train for 6 years and get stronger. After 4 years of training, Izuku found a Den Den Mushi that looked like the golden one Spandam had but it was diamond. Curious, Izuku pressed the button on top of it and a portal opened up in front of him. He walked through it and found himself back in his own world.
