Friday

I hear my alarm go off. No wanting to get out of bed. Ahhh these past two days have been something. So Wednesday night mama and the girls got back and we've been spending some time with them.

But Miss Swan still has not replied to my message. She left me on delivered. And she's been ignoring me these past few days. I don't know what's wrong with her but I'm gonna try to get her to open up to me today. I don't like her ignoring me.

I finally get out of bed and start getting dressed. Today I decided to wear some white pants with a nude shirt and some nude flats. And I just leave my hair down. I then put on my jewelry and read my devotional for today.

Thank you Lord!! I then walk to the bus stop with Dani. I look at the birds and the flowers and remember the scripture where it talks about how God cares about the birds and the lilies how much more does He careth for you?

It so crazy to think about God loves and cares for me! The one who created the whole earth and heavens cares about me. Me... Even then little things like the color of the flowers.

We get to school and go our separate ways. I walk to the cafeteria. Like always Sherwood and Edie are already sitting at our usual table.
"Good Morning guys, it's finally Friday!" I say with a smile. "Yeah I know, I feel like this week flew by." Edie says. "Yeah it has felt that way." I say.

After a few minutes Anna and Bell walk in and it's time to walk to class. Me and Sherwood walk to Miss Scott's class.

"So what did you make on the math test from last week?" Sherwood asks.

"A 89, why?" I ask.

"Just wondering if you could help me." He ask with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course, how could I say no to that face." I say with a chuckle.

After Miss Scott's class we walk to maths. I take out the test from last week and Sherwood takes a photo before Mr Demery starts class.
Anna, Bell and Edie walk in together just in time for class to start.

"What took you guys so long." I ask.

"Miss Swan yelled at Edie for laughing in the hall way." Bell says.

"Yeah I don't know what's her problem." Edie says.

Before I know it it's time to go to English. Me and Bella walk in and take our seats, Miss Swan is at her desk looking at some papers. "Today y'all are gonna read about different point of views." Miss Swans says. "And when you are finished you may work on missing work and be quiet." She adds.

She passes the papers out and when she comes to me she doesn't even look at me. I don't know what's wrong with her but it's really worrying me. Once I get the paper i start working on the sentences and looking at the point of views. Once I'm finished I just sit there doodling on a piece of paper since I don't have any missing work.

"Brooklyn can you help me with Mr. Demery work?" Bella ask.

"Yeah." I say as I look at her computer and she hands me her paper and pencil. It's the same test from last week Sherwood needed help on. "Since it's 25687(0.12) you'll just subtract one from 0.12 and get your answer." I explain.

Then I do the next one "The formula for this equation is y=mx+b but since it's not in y= you'll have to slove for y." I tell her. "Oh okay I understand it now." Bell says.

The bell rings and we pack up are things. "I'll meet you at lunch." I say.

"Okay" Bell says as she walks out the room.

Once the last person leaves the room I walk up to Miss Swan who is writing something on the board. I assume for her next class. "Miss Swan please talk to me, you've been acting off these past few days. You've ignored my messages and have been yelling at people for no reason. Just talk to me." I say worried and desperation laced my voice as I look at her as she turns around.

"I don't need you Brooklyn." She says as she looks at me with a frustration look in her eyes. I do the only thing I know to do, that I hope with break this barrier that she's belt up and the frustration. I pull her into a hug. I heard God tell me she just needs to be loved. She tries to pull away but I just tighten my grip. "I'm not letting go, I'm not letting you go." I say as she begins to cry and soften in the embrace.

I trace my fingers lightly across her back trying to comfort her some more and let her relax against me. She calms down and starts to breathe steadily again. I pull back and kiss her forehead. "Are you okay?" I ask as I look at her. "Yeah." She says with a chuckle. Gosh I missed her smile. "After school can I go home with you, please." I ask wanting to make sure she's okay. "Yeah that's fine." She says as she cleans up her face some.

"Great." I say as I walk over to her and wipe a little tear rolling down her cheek away. And give her a hug. "Even if you don't need me I'm always gonna be here for you." I say as I pull back. She just smiles at me. "Thank you darling." She says. "You don't have to thank me love." I say as I crease her cheek.

"Well I should go before Bell starts wondering what's talking so long." I say. "Yeah." She says as I walk over to my things and head for the door. "See ya later." I say walking out. "Of course darling." I hear her say in the distance.

I'm glad she better now but I want to make sure she's okay and I want to know why she was so frustrated and upset. I wonder what could have caused it. I don't think it was something I did.

As I walk up to the table I hear Bell talking about how her and James have been talking and they are really getting to know each other. "That's great Bell." I say as I sit beside her and start eating my lunch.

"Yeah, Brooklyn I really like him and so we're supposed to be going on a date today after school." She says with excitement in her voice.

"I'm happy for you!" I say.

"Where are y'all going?" Anna ask.

"Where just going to have a picnic at the park and stuff." She says.

"Oh okay." Anna says.

After lunch me and bell walk to Spanish and we have to write a note in Spanish. Once I'm finished I just talk to Bella some. I'm ready for school to be over so I can spend some time with Mrs. Swan. Finally the bell rang letting us know it was time to change classes. Which seemed to take ages.

Then we walk to Science and meet up with Anna, Edie and Sherwood. We walk in the class and take our seats. We have a sub so all we really do is some notes and talk about random stuff the rest of the period.

Then bell rings signaling for us to go home. We all walk out.

"Bye y'all." I say with a smile.

"Bye." I hear them all say in unison as I turn to walk to Mrs. Swans room.

Once I walk over to her door I nock lightly.

"Come in." I hear her say.
