Two weeks laterMy alarm goes off. "Mhm." I mutter. Turning off my alarm and laying in bed a minute. It's August 26 almost a month into school. It's been okay. Ever since that little interaction with Miss Swan two weeks ago she's just been cold and distant. Maybes she's just going through a lot. I wonder if she's saved.
"Thank you Lord for this new day." I say as I walk to the restroom to potty.
I then make my bed and put on my outfit. Today I decided to wear some blue jeans with a tan shirt and my sandals since it's not quite that cold outside and still hot weather. I put on my jewelry and read my devotional.
August 26PROBLEMS ARE APART OF LIFE. They are inescapable: woven into the very fabric of this fallen world. You tend to go into problem-solving mode all too readily, acting as if you have the capacity to fix everything. This is a habitual response, so automatic that is bypasses your conscious thinking. Not only does this habit frustrate you, it also distances you from Me. Do not let fixing things be your top priority. You are ever so limited in to ur capacity to correct all that is in the world around you. Don't weigh yourself down with responsibilities that are not your own. Instead, make your relationship with Me your primary concern. Talk with Me about whatever is on your mind, seeking My prospective on the situation. Rather than trying to fix everything that comes to your attention, ask Me to show you what is truly important. Remember that you are en route to heaven, and let your problems fade in the Light of eternity.
"Amen!" I say.
I get my book bag and walk out my room.
"Good morning." I say.
"Good morning." Dani says.
We kiss mama and the girls bye and walk to the bus stop talking about anything that comes to mind.
We get off the bus and she walks over to her friends and I walk to the cafeteria to find mine.
We see Edie and Sherwood sitting at a table. I walk over to them and sit down.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey." They say.
Then Anna and Bell walk in but it's time to go to class so we stand up to greet them and then walk to class.

After maths me and Bell walk to English. Miss Swan is standing by the door waiting for everyone to walk in and take their seat. I smile at her and walk in. She gives me a slight smile. I'll take it, I mean it's better than nothing. We sit in our seats and get out our stuff for her class.
We're still reading Matilda but we only have 5 chapters left. We've made it to the part where Matilda goes to Miss Trunchables house and gets two chocolates and the Miss Hunny's doll.
The bell rings and she walks to the front of the class.
"Good Morning class, today we are gonna finish the book and you're gonna write an essay on it and how you feel about the book, etc." she says.
We finish the book and begin our essays.
Though Matilda's parents and principal underestimated her potential Miss Honey saw her, her potential and ability to succeed. Matilda and Miss Honey both have never had a loving family and when they met and connected they both find love and understanding in each other. Matilda's family never understood her but Miss Honey did. So in the end they both have each other and got what they wanted a loving family's
