When Nevaeh wakes, she has a splitting headache. She goes to touch her head, but her wrists are bound. And so is her neck and body, to a pole, she realizes. The rope is pulled tightly around her, allowing her the tiniest bit of airway to breathe. The pole is pressed so hard against her back, she almost has to arch her back to keep the pole from digging into her spine. When she turns her head, she finds Dean, well shapeshifter Dean, holding ropes, watching her.
The shapeshifter sits the ropes down, and crunches down in front of her. He's an arms length away from her, but it still feels so close. The shapeshifters silver eyes flickers all over her face for an uncomfortably long time. The shapeshifter moves closer, gripping her chin, and if she were able to yank away without the rope scraping against her neck, she would. "You know, I see what he sees in you. You are awfully pleasing to look at," he says, and Nevaeh frowns, confused for just a second before realizing exactly who he is the shapeshifter is talking about.
"Where is he?" Nevaeh asks him. The shapeshifter smirks, his eyes flickering back and forth between her eyes, and lips. "Fucking answer me," she spits, "where is Dean?" She pauses in between each word.
The shapeshifter closes its eyes, and when it opens them, his silvery eyes are replaced with Dean's green eyes. "I'm Dean."
"Yeah? And I'm the fucking president. Where's Dean. And Sam."
The shapeshifter laughs. "Oh my god, I like you. You got spunk." He lays his hands on Nevaeh's knees, and she tenses. The shifter's smile is sinister, his hands slowly moving farther and farther up her thighs. She bites her tongue so hard, she tastes metal in her mouth. The shifter leans in closer to her face, but doesn't get the chance to kiss her because she spits blood in his face.
"Where ar-" she starts to ask, but doesn't get to finish because she's struck against the cheek so hard, the rope scratches against her neck as her head is turned to the other direction. She takes a few seconds, regaining her breath, before slowly turning back to the shifter's now humorless face.
"Dean doesn't want you," the shifter spits. "Wants to fuck you, sure, but he doesn't want you around. The only reason he keeps you around is because he owes your brother. And he doesn't trust you, either. You think he swept that shit back at Sam's apartment under the rug?" The shifter laughs, shaking its head. "Guess again. Whenever you see him watching you, don't flatter yourself. He's waiting for the right moment to bury a bullet in your heart." The shifter roughly jabs a finger in her chest. "It's what your father told him to do. I doubt Dean and Sam are even looking for you. Dean's probably banging that Becky chick right now."
Nevaeh lets in a sharp inhale, hastily shaking her head. She doesn't want to believe it. The shifter is lying, that's what monsters do. It doesn't know what it's talking about. But it does. It knows too much information. With no reason to lie. Nevaeh lets a single tear slip from her eyes. The shifter wipes it. "Oh, don't cry," the shifter says with false empathy. "Trust me, I understand. What it's like, to be a freak. A misunderstood monster. I came from a bad background, too. See, you and I, were much more alike than you care to admit. All alone, close to no one. All you want, is to feel normal. Loved. I see it written all over your face."
Nevaeh chokes, feeling short of breath all of a sudden. The shifter leans over her, undoing the rope that bounds her neck. "I apologize," the shifter smirks. But Nevaeh doesn't move. Not even when the shifter stands and leaves. She feels frozen. And she doesn't know what to believe. After a while of being left alone with her thoughts, Nevaeh hears bodies being dragged. "I found your friends for you," she hears the shifter yell, and she lets out a deep breath. "Since you don't wanna have any fun, maybe Beck will. Let's find out." She hears the shifter run off again, and not long after, she begins hearing groans.
