"Nevaeh," Dean purses his lips.
Nevaeh shakes her head. "I look ridiculous. I'm not getting out of this car. I look like a highschool drama dork." She turns her attention to Sam. "No offense," she says, and Dean laughs.
"Hey, what was that play you did? Uh... Our Town. You were good, it was cute," Dean fights a smile and Sam glares.
"Seriously Nevaeh, these outfits cost hard earned money."
Nevaeh pouts her lips at Dean. "Really? Whose? Jim Tucker's or Carry Weight's?"
"Mine. You think credit card fraud's easy?"
Nevaeh rolls her eyes. "Fine. But we better be in and out."
"Thanks for letting us look around," Sam says.
"Well the police said they were done with the place, so..." the woman shrugs. "You guys said you're with the alarm company?"
"That's right," Dean says.
"Well no offense but, your alarm is about as useful as boobs on a man."
Nevaeh chuckles. "Well that's why we're here. See what with wrong, stop it from happening again."
The lady sums up what she'd seen when she'd found the body. No sign of forced entry, sign of struggle, sound of an alarm, "Everything was in perfect condition," she said. "Except Meredith."
"And what condition was Meredith in?" Sam asks.
"Meredith was... all over. Pieces. The guy that did this must've been some kind of wack job. If I didn't know any better, I'd say a wild animal did it."
"Ma'am, you mind giving us a moment for a quick once over?" Nevaeh asks.
"Go right ahead, Knock yourselves out," the woman says.
"So," Dean grabs his EMF, "killer walks in and out of the apartment, no weapons, no prints, nothing."
"I'm telling you, the minute I found that article, I knew it was our kind of gig," Sam nods.
"And you talked to the cops?"
"Yeah, Amy. A charming, perky officer of the law," Dean says.
"What'd you find out?" Sam asks.
"Well, that she's a Sagittarius. She loves tequila, I mean... oh and she's got this little tattoo-"
"About the case, asshat," Nevaeh sighs.
"Oh, nothing. Except one thing they're keeping out of the papers. Her heart was missing."
"Her heart?"
"Yeah, her heart."
"So what, a werewolf?" Nevaeh asks and Sam shakes his head. "No not a werewolf, the lunar cycle isn't right. And if it was a creature, it would've left some sort of trace."
Nevaeh looks at the ground in thought, connecting the dots of Meredith's blood. Which seems to be aligned a bit too perfectly. "Do you guys have masking tape?" She asks.
They both shake their head and starts looking. "Here," Dean says, closing the kitchen drawer.
Nevaeh walks back over to the rug covered in blood and starts connecting each speck of blood with tape. Once she's finished, she stands and steps back.
"Ever seen the symbol before?" Sam asks.
Dean shakes his head. Nevaeh frowns. "Me either."
"5 bucks, he isn't gonna come back with nothing but a name and a number," Nevaeh grins and holds out her hand for Sam to shake.
