"Hey, look, pull over here," Dean points out of the window and the sheriff does. "This is the first turn up I've seen so far."

"You stay here, I'll check it out," she tells him and starts walking.

Dean follows. "No way."

"Hey, you're a civilian. And a felon, I think. I'm not taking you with me."

Dean shakes his head. "You're not going without me."

The sheriff looks around and sighs. "Alright. You promise, you won't get involved. You'll let me handle it."

"Yeah, I promise," Dean lies.

"Shake on it," she holds out her hand. Dean shakes her hand, and she slaps a handcuff around his wrist, putting the other handcuff around the door handle.

"Oh, come on," Dean groans. "This is ridiculous." The sheriff starts walking. "Kathleen, I think you're really gonna need my help," Dean calls after her.

"I'll manage," she says locking the door. "Thank you."

Dean sighs. "I gotta start carrying paper clips," he mumbles.

About 20 minutes passes before Dean notices an antenna on the car. "Sunnuvabitch," he chuckles, and reaches for it. It takes a while of straining himself and wishing he was Sam Winchester right about now before he's finally able to grab it.

The door clicks open, which wakes Nevaeh up from her nap.

"Get in there," a man says, sounding like he's smoked too much cigarettes in his lifetime, and a woman groans as she's thrown into the cage across from her.

When the door locks, Nevaeh climbs to the front of the cage. "Hey, you alright?" She asks the woman.

"Are you Nevaeh?" She asks, rubbing her head.

Nevaeh frowns. "Yeah."

"Your uh, your boyfriend's looking for you."

Nevaeh scrunches her nose. "Right. Where is he?"

"I uh, I cuffed him to my car."

Nevaeh sighs. Great. "What's your name?"

"Kathleen. And you're Sam Winchester?" She turns her attention to Sam now.

"Yeah."

The door clicks open again, and Nevaeh scoots back upon instinct and scowls. "This is so dehumanizing," she murmurs.

"Sam?" She hears a familiar voice say, and she moves back to the front of the cage.

She lets out a sigh of relief.

"Are you hurt?" Dean asks Sam.

"No," Sam breathes.

"Where's Nevaeh?"

"Back here," she says, and Dean jogs over to her cage.

"How did you get out of the cuffs?" Kathleen asks.

"I know a trick or two," Dean tells her, and turns back to Nevaeh. "Alright," he says walking around the cage until he finds a lock. "Whoa. These locks look like they're gonna be a bitch."

"Well there's some kind of automatic control," Sam tells him. "Right there," he points.

"Have y'all seen them?" Dean asks.

"Yep," Nevaeh says. "They're just people."

Dean chuckles. "And they jumped you?"

"Yeah, dude."
