Jiwon POV
To say I was nervous was an understatement. After I visited the coffee truck my dongdengs sent, Lee Jaewon, uri sajangnim, arrived. He smiled to me kindly and tapped my shoulder, a sign of support.
"Jiwonie, why do you look nervous?" he asked. "Gwenchana, your boyfriend co-owns Gold Medalist. They'll keep their side of things under control."
This was new to me. He co-owns his agency? I knew he was big time but I didn't know he was this big time. He has always been humble. No wonder he wasn't worried about today's meeting. He even visited my coffee truck first and put my sticker on his script.
When we got into the meeting room, Soohyun, his 2 managers, a secretary and a guy wearing a business suit were already there. Meanwhile, my team composed of me, my 2 managers and Lee Jaewon. The guy in suit stood up and shook hands with sajangnim then he bowed to me as I bowed to him too.
Soohyun moved and stood beside me. He touched my back and guided me to sit beside him. He introduced the guy as the CEO of GM, Lee Sarang, his cousin.
"Let's get down to business shall we?" Lee Sarang said when everyone settled down. I suddenly became alert.
"Soohyun-ah, do you love her?" he asked.
"Geureomyo," Soohyun answered but his eyes were locked with my sajangnim, who in return nodded.
"What about you, Jiwon-shi. Do you love him?" Lee Sarang continued to probe.
I blushed. I had no idea what was he going about with these questions but I answered sincerely, "yes."
"Geureom..." he paused. Lee Sarang was a serious looking man so I never expected what he said next. "I now then pronounce you husband and wife."
Everyone in the room laughed. Soohyun giggled the loudest. Even my sajangnim threw his head back and gave a hearty laugh. Am I the only one who's nervous? Why aren't they taking this seriously?
Soohyunie leaned in and whispered to my ear. "They have been communicating behind our back, even before we became official."
"Jiwonie, everyone here knows both of you are good people with bright future ahead. All we ask are for both of you to be careful and as much as possible, be discreet. We will soft launch your relationship. Slowly and gradually, until the public and media won't make a huge fuss," Lee Jaewon remarked.
When I first met Lee Jaewon, the impressions I had were he was a family man and guy full of principles. I made a good decision of signing with his company. Everything was like a puzzle fitting into places. All perfect timing. Fate signed me up to a supportive company because I would be falling in love with a famous actor while working together.
"How many interviews were already set?" Lee Sarang asked his secretary.
"There were 5 interviews including the press conference."
Addressing me and Soohyun, Lee Sarang said, "all you need to do is to behave daily. Do not date on public uncontrolled places. And do these 5 interviews without slipping up. If you could do that, we will consider magazine photoshoots and couple interviews after the drama."
"Jiwonie could do that. But..." Lee Jaewon responded. He raised his eyebrow to Soohyun.
"Ehem..." Soohyun's manager hyung replied in his behalf, "he needs practice."
